I love listening to you talking about different purchases you have made in shoppes in Helsinki. My grandparents from my Dad were from Finland and emigrated to the U.S. in 1910 as my Dad was born here. They died before I was born so I never met them. I have their picture hanging on my wall and I have a deep desire to visit if ever possible. Thankyou so much , love your knitting

I really love your Caramel Cardi. I have this pattern but never envisioned it so lushly. And just an FYI. I knit the Anker sweater by Petite Knits as a Christmas present 2020. It has been revamped . So much so that I gave it 5 stars. And I really loved knitting it. Still needs schematics in all her patterns. But it was so essential for this pattern.

I always enjoy your podcast! Thank you for the reading recommendations, I've downloaded the Sue Monk Kidd book from my library just now. Our taste in patterns is quite similar! I just bought a kit to make the Shift Shawl, already have the yarn to make the Mountain Mist sweater by Tin Can Knits, and I'm currently making the Tinder Scarf with some lovely handspun alpaca I purchased at a farmer's market years ago. I started an Edie top last summer, and will pick it up again probably in March. Again, thank you for sharing your yarn, knits, and reads!

Oh, my, now I want an olive green Ranunculus as well! ❣️ So far this year, I have knit eight of them. I love the pattern, and have four daughters (as well as a son, but somehow Ranunculus would not have been to his taste! 😜), and since this year I have been basically a hermit in my house, I decided to knit something for all eighteen people on my Christmas gift-giving list. My daughters each received a Ranunculus. I really am not tired of knitting it, and plan on a few more. Olive green us one of my favorite colors as well. ❣️ Happy New Year! I love your podcast and want to knit one of your beautiful Westboro hats. 😀

I always love your catch ups! It reminds me of the two years we spent living in the Glebe while my husband was in grad school. Audrey was born at Montfort hospital! I also had a problem with the Oslo mohair hat- it’s too big. She just did an update to it, so not sure if that will make a difference. I think I can actually get another one out of the leftovers from the Brightfeather sweater I’m finishing up as I watch this! I also made her Balloon Cardigan, which I really love, although I might size down if i did it again. ;)

I was just imaging all that yarn on the floor and Yoda walking into the middle of it, but I get the feeling she is far too chill to tangle with yarn.
