So glad you finished the shawl Selma - it is just lovely! And I certainly hope you will bring some of that glorious bread with you next April 😀😀

Lisa Lessard and I didn’t realize that you have a French name! Lots of Lessards around here!!

My husbands grandfather was French Canadian! He has lost touch with any family there because his grandparents divorced and his grandmother married an Italian man. My husband thinks of himself as Italian because the only paternal grandparents he knew were Italian! When we lived in Saratoga, we would often see trucks coming down from Montreal with the Lessard name on them😀😀. And that bread should be a definite!

Just discovered your podcast and enjoyed it very much! You have a nice, gentle way of talking which is relaxing and enjoyable for the listener (maybe just watch how many times you say "really" though!) the charcoal sideways shawl is so pretty! you are a very accomplished knitter! I appreciated hearing about the book and will have to get it from the library, it sounds good... looking forward to seeing your projects next podcast, thank you so much for sharing all this! and wow that bread looks so amazing, I think I can smell it!!

Very nice projects as always ! The shawl is gorgeous ! Thank you for your advises on books. Especially the one about race that I’d like to read or listen at. Lovely footage in the end! I spent a very pleasant and relaxing time watching your episode.

Hello Selma, thank you for your always so nice podcast. Lovely sweaters, even so the one you are waring as the wip. My Citrus Dream, of witch I was talking the previous time and the “Bello” are now in the garments thread. I must admit with many difficulties, Raverly is for me full of secrets. Both sweaters are started and finished in 2019. Wish you a beautiful time and many nice knitting Christiane from Belgium Europe.

Selma. Could you give me information on your blanket please. Is there a pattern you’re following. What hook size etc. Now I’m going to ask you something. Would you by any chance have a Voolenvine mini that you may have left over? I tried getting some on many occasions, but I never succeeded. Great podcast by the way. Thank you

Enjoyed your podcast, and your pronunciation of the name Greenwich, too cute.
@littlebigknits5 жыл бұрын
Little Robin Cottage but that seemed the way they pronounced it there!! Was I totally wrong? It surprised me but I went with it!
@lacyoflittlerobincottage14035 жыл бұрын
I know, right. You would think by reading the word as it is written, it would be pronounced the same. Go figure. But Greenwich, CT was named after Greenwich, England and is pronounced the same. BTW: LOVE LOVE LOVE your podcast!

Good evening, I really like your podcast :-) My opinion about your swatches is that you must put cool color together, like silver, white and pink. The brown and the beige are warm and won't go well. It is like in the makeup, you can't put orange blush with a pink lipstick, LOL

Oh my gosh! Those baby sheep are so stinkin' cute! And the alpaca are so goofy looking...but lovely, of course. What a great retreat to go to.👍 I love the shades of grey that you buy to knit with; they're very becoming on you, but would not work on me. Looking forward to seeing what you decide to make with that lovely linen yarn. Take care. Patty

Regarding the gauge difference between needles, I wonder if one set were labelled with the incorrect size? I would be inclined to check with a needle gauge to see if that’s possibly what happened. Would love to hear more on this in your next podcast. I am curious if others have experienced the same thing as you did. As you mentioned, I had heard that needle material could effect gauge, but never heard of different brands resulting in such a difference to the knitted fabric. Please do let us know if you hear from others with similar results. As always, your podcast is a pleasure to watch.

I always very pleased to see a new podcast of yours pop up in my feed! As always I am loving your choices of yarn, FO’s, and patterns. lol I thought I was the only one that was bothered by seeing the extra fabric in the spot between the underarm and chest! I love the Poet sweater, but it seems to have quite the excess of it, wish I was confident enough to try and modify it out 🤔 Sitting here knitting with a plant based fibre, my first time! Making a short sleeved Sunshine Coast in Nako Fiore, a25% Linen, 35% Cotton, and 40% Bamboo viscose blend in the grey colour. Very affordable at $5.99 a 150 m ball :) Looks like a fabulous retreat, farm yarn for the win :) Is it open to the general public to attend?

So good seeing your podcast. You hold my attention and believe me , that is not easy. 😏 The beautiful yarn you were discussing, I too like the silver with the colors but the white seems too white. I think a soft white would blend better and not stand out . Can’t wait to see your project. You have great energy and I thank you for your podcast. Take care👵 Sally🇺🇸

Thank you for another interesting podcast. Just to prove I watched to the end I love your skein holder and wool winder. Did you buy them or have you got (or are you) a very clever DIY person. I only have one of those plastic ones and it is very unreliable.

My knitting life has been slow. I finished my epic brioche cardigan. Haven’t had a chance to take pictures the weather has been rainy. I have a couple of projects that need a finished pic. Everything else on my needles is moving along at a snail’s pace. I think I need to put them down an make a palette cleanser project. I think it is because I’ve given myself too many knitting deadlines. Just plowing through is tough sometimes.

What a treasure of a podcast. Thank you for taking the time to record and for sharing. Can you please direct me to where I can find out about upcoming retreats? Is there a website?
