Jessie your fan base loves you. They may disagree with you sometimes but thats normal. Im not religious so I have no clue whats going on with the whole pastor thing but people seemed to have thought there was a double standard with your take on Cheyenne vs the pastor; not that they necessarily all disagreed with you on Cheyenne. That was my personal observation of what I saw and so I may be wrong of course.

Great discussion. Just an observation about Dr. Bryant, I feel like you can tell a lot about someone the way they go out of their way to flex about themselves. To add to Kojo's point about her basically talking down to some of the women she's talking to, she also always finds a way/has to reveal something about herself that she does intimately, dresses like or speaks in a way that makes her the ideal model for what she's speaking against when talking to that particular audience. Almost pedestalizing herself in a triple play where she's constantly preaching, pedestalizing, and promoting. It's a great trifecta for the platforms and spaces she's now becoming prominent in, and good on her for successfully finding a way to standout/capitalize in such a severely oversaturated market. But as this video pointed out even with how smart she clearly is, the more we continue to get of her the more holes it feels like appears in her boat as she's telling others that they are in need of a life raft.

Jessie definitely wasn't being bashed in her comments, her fan base loves her but she was "corrected" about some statements on Dr Bryant's education. She was saying she shouldn't be called doctor but then admitted she had NO IDEA about her credentials. Secondly, ppl really don't like pastor Jamal and couldn't understand the harsh critique for Cheyenne while praising pastor Jamal. It just rubbed ppl the wrong way but they were more dissing the pastor.
@dahliaherrod430113 күн бұрын
Huh! I got the impression she was legitimately unclear on Dr. Bryant's education and was asking the audience if she still has her doctorate. She wasn't the only one who was confused 😊
@changetocome10013 күн бұрын
@dahliaherrod4301 Nah, she was definitely saying she shouldn't be called a doctor if her doctorate is honorific , then she was corrected on live about it being legit, she then proceeded to question the validity if the school no longer exists, she was then corrected again on live etc etc. So if her audience wasn't more informed it would have read like slander given she was simply ignorant on the facts while being shady to Dr Bryant about her education.
@tashabnicole13 күн бұрын
This. And I also believe it was a lot of interpretation. I wasn't able to sit through the entire video but Dr. Bryant didn't demand anyone to give her passwords after a week of getting to know someone. She just said she discussed it to see where the person is prior to getting in a relationship. I can't lie, just the part I watched was a hard watch because of her mind already being made up about her and what she had to say.
@shyranhilaw435213 күн бұрын
@@changetocome100Her school lost its accreditation prior to it closing down. I don’t think it’s “shady” to question the validity of her degree. Her being unsure or wrong about it being honorary is a different story though.
@southernbell64213 күн бұрын
I've watched several of Cheyenne interviews Dr or not the lady is spiritually and emotionally lost, and all the degrees and education "allegedly" has not yelled her the results of being a healthy minded woman, accolades don't define success, for a woman mastering your emotions being spiritually and mentally healthy is true success, her thought process is from a place of fear, control and insecurity

@rehopecoach12 күн бұрын
Someone Jessie, bringing attention to this - is important as she presents on platforms as an expert now an expert in the Lord too I guess, but it is so harmful to our sisters and women, who decide her way of thinking is right, standard, and you should stand up for yourself the way she does, as a believer no, non-believer yes, believers present as if Jesus himself is in the room and would He be pleased We fall short but our jobs are to show others the God in us and how we honor God so we bring others closer to God I feel like people are beginning to idolize her and if you're gonna have experts on please please VET THEM FIRST, not for you Jessie but for others that are hiring her for the tour from show to show

Dr. Cheyenne Bryant needs to stop mixing New Age & Christianity… the two do not mix! She has used the law of attraction and the bible together and that’s not cool. Our God is Holy and Set Apart… He is Holy! And that’s not ok to try to mix His word with some man made, demonically-inspired knowledge.

Don't every other sentence teach biblical principles and then suit them for the lifestyle you're living - scripture + scripture = scripture! Hermeneutics teaches how to interpret scripture correctly And I agree- it's totally self warranted advice, not that of a paid, highly paid, practitioner And to speak about sex so much with a Pastor, I could never and would NEVER speak like this to my Pastor interview or not I am so glad someone is finally speaking out

Also maybe he couldn't really afford it and perhaps yes he should have said that's too steep for me right now.

But the "recipe" doesn't work if you don't have all the ingredients sis. Just because she knows what she wants in a man doesn't man she has found a man that has all those things she "requires." I love you Jess but I don’t think u understand her. She didn’t tell people to do anything she told us what she does and what works for her at her level as a 42yr old woman. She never demanded anything up front she’s a woman that knows what she wants and needs. She wasn’t giving advice. Listening to her you truly have to be a woman who’s done the work on self to understand. Her words aren’t for women who aren’t ready to deal with working on themselves. It was for grown women who take accountability for their attitudes and sometimes unrealistic demands. Also anyone who looks at sharing your phone passwords as “invasion of privacy “ you got some growing up to do. Giving your social security number is an invasion of privacy. Like she said a phone is $500 the mind and body is priceless. Elevate the mind
@shyranhilaw435213 күн бұрын
Um no she absolutely was giving advice lol. Idk how you can watch the interview and come to any other conclusion. She straight up said she was addressing unmarried people as well when Pastor Jamal tried to redirect her statements. Also sharing passwords opens the door to your privacy being compromised so maybe you’re the one who has growing to do.
@PLAY_LEE413 күн бұрын
@ just because she was sitting with a pastor doesn’t mean she is supposed to direct comments to Christians…but again only a certain type of woman understands what she was saying. As a married woman i understand her, as a woman who’s worked on self and know my worth and things I want for me I understand. Not everyone is in that place doesn’t mean another woman need to come down on a woman just because they don’t align. And she also said ONCE IN THAT SPACE OF LIVING TOGETHER AND BEING SEXUALLY INTIMATE she wants to exchange passwords and such. That’s not a damn invasion of privacy. Giving your body up to someone u don’t know is more of an invasion of privacy. But only GROWN aligned women will understand and it’s okay if u aren’t one of those people. I posted my opinion and that is that. This isn’t a democracy nor am I finna debate with anyone. Just grow up and go work on u
@shyranhilaw435213 күн бұрын
@@PLAY_LEE4 “Just because she was sitting with a pastor doesn’t mean she is supposed to direct her comments to Christians…” Do you hear yourself or do you happen to be fluent in nonsense? Why be on a pastor’s platform then? That’s literally who his audience is so what’s the agenda behind any of that? You’re right about one thing though that only a certain type of woman will understand her, the ones who are easily influenced and manipulated. And if you’re one of those people I’m fine by that too. Also not aligning with someone isn’t the issue here, it’s the fact that she was using scripture to justify her position. Praying panties off is just one of the diabolical things she said. That’s why there was a need to “come down” on her. Remarkable (or maybe not so much) that went right over your head.
@PLAY_LEE413 күн бұрын
@@shyranhilaw4352 girl….okay great! Once again this ain’t a damn debate! Fluent in nonsense? No you’re fluent in stupidity if u feel like debating with another woman on their opinion is the move. And tbh that’s all I read. I don’t care to read all of that nor do I care to debate with a single uneducated woman who can’t listen to others opinions without bashing. Not saying you’re bashing me because I don’t feel that way but to bash that woman for how she feels and how she chooses to align herself is wild to me. U don’t like what she says then be grown and keep it moving. Everything doesn’t need to be met with a conversation, debate or back and forth. God Bless you dear have a wonderful week ❤️
