I just received Rhythm of War a week ago. I started the series mid November and I’ve just started Oathbringer! One of the best series I’ve ever read and I’m so excited to get further into it 😍😍

Mythology is a fav of mine - Ariadne is one I have to pick up - the female's perspective from a myth? Yes please! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the King of Elfhame book! The Cruel Prince series is great, angsty - I hope you enjoy it!

Almost wished I'd gotten the October box just by how pretty the book is. Unfortunately didn't like one book of her SJTR series and I read the whole thing because I bought the set.

That Ariadne book sounds interesting! And it's so gorgeous 😍 Not to scare you off but the reviews I've seen for Ready Player Two are... not great to say the least 😅 Noelle Gallagher, who was a huge fan of the first one, hated it (she talks about it at the end of her last wrap up) and Daniel Greene has a whole rant video on it. I really like Ready Player One but the movie was enough of a mess that I don't want to ruin it further by reading that sequel 😂

Ready Player Two was a worthwhile read. It's a good follow-up in that it continues the story in a similar manner to the plot of the first book being there are challenges and heaps of nostalgia (at least for me being an 80's kid) but pales in comparison in execution. I'm trying to balance saying too much and not making sense. There is a lot of set-up in the first half and the last half just seems to go too quick. There are some new characters brought in but they're poorly utilized. The first challenge takes forever to get through and then the last few go too fast. I realize this was necessitated by the plot, but it's still true. I feel the first book did a better job of balancing the completion of the tasks with the pace of the plot. Again, a worthwhile read but don't expect Ready Player One.

You should read my new gothic romance novel '40,000 Words'. It follows Adelaide Parabellum as the arrival of poems from beyond the grave causes her to recollect how she had met an austere, quiet, stranger at a pond eight years prior. '40,000 Words' is on Amazon for paperback format :D

Sorry for any confusion! As I mention in the vid, it is less than US$10 a month with the annual subscription - the monthly plan costs a bit more.
