I like the conversation with the fishman most. We may see the pictures or videos about these areas in other online sources, but the conversation is unique and helps us understand what is happening behind those pictures or videos. Truly amazing, Thanks Yan!

Agreed. Photos are great. But the conversation with the fisherman gives us a deeper understanding of a commoner’s life in Hainan.

Just thought about your show… and here you are.. Because my ancestors are from the Zhongshan, Guangzhou .. I look forward to seeing what life is like in 2024 versus the photos that I have from the 50’s & 60’ before my parents migrated into Hong Kong and then onto Honolulu, Hawaii where I’ve grown up and now reside in California. I truly appreciate your hard work in documenting China as we see it today… it is beautiful and scenic..Thank You..!

In 2018, there was a fourth-generation Malaysian Chinese. She came back to look for her ancestors, who were from Zhongshan, but she didn't find them. She came back to play in 19 years. You can try to come back and have a look.

Good evening Yan, what a Fishy & Salty Journey, it was quite interesting to see the Fisherman mending his fishing net, what a Great expanse of Salt Farming at Hainan, your Drone shots were Great, the Beach Sand at Hainan was quite nice, it must be very popular, for Chinese Family to visit all year round, the roads seem to be very busy ,lots of different transport, please be careful, those Big transport trucks make your little Scouter look very tiny, Great video Madam, Keep them Coming, Im learning more about China by your videos, Regards & Best Wishes, Trevor.W.Baelli. Thanks Yan for another very interesting aspect of rural China. I really enjoyed the candid cnoversation with the fisherman . i was happy to hear that the average earnings seems suffciient - at least he seems fairly satified with the monthly amount.. Take care on the road.

The salt farm, when viewed from high above, looks like a water-colour palette. I don’t know how the fishermen find those holes in the nets. It is mesmerizing just to look at the net. The music you chose was very nice to accompany the views. Thanks Yan, for another wonderful video.

Hello Yan, a little fan of yours and your channel from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 😊 ❤. Watching your vlog while having breakfast and with a cup of tea or coffee has become my new favorite hobby. Recently, I watched a Chinese drama named Summer Flower, which was shot in Hainan, Sanya. I remember the scene and the drone shots are so similar. I must say, I've always been fascinated by China, and your vlog is just like a documentary from National Geography. It's so informative and beautiful. And, being a solo traveling woman you are truly an inspiration. I wish someday I could visit China.

Much variety in one vlog! Fishing village & conversation with fisherman as he weaves his way through net repair. Breathtaking drone footage of the sea salt farm, motorbike travel to resort town & the views of beach front fun as well as what must be luxurious hotels. Then travel to your place for the night. What a day! Thanks for a marvelous ride!

I spent a few days over the lunar new year back a few years in Sanya, we stayed at a Mandarin Oriental resort which was crazy nice, though a bit pricey. I wish we had gone to see the salt flats, looks more interesting than some of the stuff we did. I found it funny that the fisherman was totally not interested in taking you fishing, usually fishermen are looking to get people to join them. Anyhow, nice video, I am always happy when you drop a new video about the China I love.
