Whoa! Villages in the far far west of China used to be very poor, even as the eastern and central parts of China got richer. These days I see on vlogs like this even average Uyghurs, Tajiks etc own at least one car. It shows life must have really improved for them even in such remote regions of China. That's gd to know, where as in Palestine, it really makes me sad....
@outman19232 ай бұрын
On the positive side, our current difficulties can be overcome. The situation can be changed through positive actions. I wish for humanity to achieve peace and shared prosperity soon. I believe that Palestinians could even become more prosperous than most Chinese people. Since Palestinians live by the sea, their trade costs are lower. Too many people in China live in places with excessively high transportation costs. Although infrastructure has been built, the cost of using it is still too high compared to living by the sea. Fuel costs are also a factor.

in the past few decodes the Chinese government has built lots of roads, infrastructures, and housing improve the local lives, another reason for the fast development of these regions is tourism, especially on social media platforms like Douyin (China TikTok), which help promote Xinjiang/Tibet tremendously and draw a lot of tourists to these two regions every year. That's why most Chinese people will laugh at the ridiculous accusations by the West that China is slaving the minorities/committing genocide in these regions. Travel videos like this one already flooded the Chinese social media 7-8 years ago and many people had already been to these regions multiple times and known what the actual life is like in these regions. It's a shame countries like USA will slander China with malicious lies and false accusation.

Hi Yan, I can only say your unique footages can only be matched by your bravery! I am sure a lot of people are hesitant to go where you have been even with escorts. That road is insane but must be preserved forever! Things happen for a reason. Places and people exist for a reason And you are the reason!, Thank you. Catch you in the next.

Such a rugged countryside. I am way to pampered by the convenience of life I must admit to feeling totally inadequate to undertake ever a portion of your travels. Kudos for sharing these. Really enjoyed them. Do stay safe.

The rural folks of Pamir Skyroad show us her the "unseen" simplicity, warmth and hospitality that is sorely missed in the urban folk around the world. At the same time, simplicity exudes happiness and contentment of course, brings along positive vibes to humanity. Keep our fingers crossed, Pamir folks could persevere and preserve their culture and landscape on the coming of economic change from the Mainland China.
