Goodmorning so glad to see you again this morning love your new bag. I think I would of used the pocket on the jeans some how. Your bags turned out wonderful. You explain how to sew it very well. Thank you ♡ Dori

Yes! Me too! ... Sew it right to the front outside main bag piece ... A little square patch can be sewn to the pocket first to give it a little whimsical "home-y patchwork" feel🌸

Thank you 4 the tutorial! You keep saying is not perfect, but it looks very neat to me! Did I mention cute? Super cute. We have 35 degrees C down here in Texas and they are the humid ones. Thank God for the bright idea of the AC inventor! We would have been melted like wax by now. :))

So cute!! I have some pretty fabric left from making masks that will be perfect for this. I’m going to make this dodgy bag to keep my dishcloth cotton in to carry around. Thanks so much Ali!!! 🧶💕🧶. I use the waistband and pockets of old jeans as a garden apron.

Texas, USA, here. Adorable bag! In love with that yellow fabric, wish I could find it here. Thanks for sharing, friend across the pond. STOP! To anyone who is making this bag using fabric with a pattern going one-way. Remember to cut out front & back of purse AND lining individually...going one way...not on the fold like I did. God bless.

Love to use or include a drawstring bag with gifts. Especially, small toys that won't be going back into the original packaging like Legos, plastic dinosaurs, Barbie clothes, etc. I even repurposed a paint splatter jeans into gift bags for mini nail polish bottles, toe separater and buffer.

Absolutely love watching you make your bags! I teach sewing craft classes. I am always embarrassed about my frequent mistakes. And, so many of my students feel that they must have perfection or nothing at all. (Many middle-high schools required sewing in the 1940's to '80's

You were so afraid of making a mistake. Many students gave up rather than face the public shaming that the edges didn't line up, things looked wonky, etc. I try to give them permission to enjoy the process, not p leasing anyone but yourself. Your videos are must see's for my students so they can hear that it is OK to not be perfect. No one is asking you to show it off at the county fair. And, anyone who is looking at your project and makes a negative comment has far, far more issues that you are not responsible for. No more time wasted feeling shame!

Love the tutorial. You are my kind of sewist. You almost make me want to get a machine and sew again. Almost. I will argue with the most annoying dog in the world title. We have a young dachsund who lives next door. He barks at everything and will not shut up! I spray him with a spray bottle. (with the owner's permission) but it doesn't truly shut him up.

Just lovely!!!!! ... Please consider sewing with an "Open Toe" presser foot, it opens up the center of the foot to a wider view and allows for even more access to create seams really super close to the edges on both, the left & right sides of your sewing area amaZingly well 😊 ✂
