Thank you for your tutorial. I think I can do that. I do a summer book club with my grandkids. This year I am creating book kits that have four to six little gifts that correspond with things happening in the book. They will open each gift at a specified page number as they read. I wanted to package them in a way that fit the topic of the book so I am making drawstring bags with fabric that fits the books theme.

I had two king-size pillow cases that I wanted to cut down to a regular size pillow case size, so I did that, and now I have the two cut-off ends. I decided to make shoe bags out of them for when my husband and I travel. I wanted to learn the best way to make these bags, so thanks for taking the time to make this video. Looks pretty easy to me. And I love that little iron...I've never seen one before.

I have two young grandsons (4yrs old and 2 yrs old) who love to draw. Their birthdays are close together and their party is tomorrow, so I bought them both a sketch pad and some coloured pencils. Our town is having a festival today so I can't get to the shops to buy pencil cases. I found some dinosaur printed fabric so I thought I would make them drawstring bags. I like how you have made it. Oh this tutorial is very nice!! Sometime in the future, since I also want to get into resin/dice making, I'd love to make matching little drawstring bags for the dice sets! You make them whatever size you want the bag to be, adding about 1½" to the top for the channel. The ones in the video are pretty small - 3 x 5, 5 x 7...
