Last year I was at a comic con where Eric Stuart, the actual voice of Seto Kaiba, was a guest. At his booth, it said you could pay him to record a message in a character's voice, and there was only one thing I could possibly think of that I'd want him to say: "screw the rules, I have money". Unfortunately though, he told me that "technically I still work for Konami, and Konami really hates YGOTAS, so it could be a very bad idea for me to do anything that seems like I'm promoting it." @@ichijofestival2576 I didn't mention the voicework to be fair, I mentioned the writing. And while the voices are crusty it just adds to how endearing it is, like I originally said. It definitely isn't unbearably cringe like other old stuff was what I was saying really. I didn't say that it was "super high quality better than everything". I just said it kept it's charm and was still funny, which it is. For instance, I cannot watch old DBZA episodes because they make me cringe into a black hole, but I watched all of these old episodes up to the new ones and still adored it, and I watched DBZA first back then. I also don't really get nostalgic about things at all, and I don't have any opinions tainted by it.
