I have the same kind of walls and struggled to find an easy solution to paint them (old lyme plaster) then my daughter got me a painting pad, it makes light work of it, cost lest than £4. Over the past year? Two years? Ish? I’ve watched you turn a near ruin into a lovely home, a family of 2 become a homestead with chickens, goats, donkey & extra cats, a new dog & now a child. Hi Harriett & Mauro, Everything looks so good, but as I watched I kept thinking about your little Santi, and how much yearning for him to be home must be driving you to push through and make it all happen. I'm glad you always had someone there with you to help you during this chaotic and challenging time. Being back on your own is always bittersweet. You will miss the caramaderie, the laughs, and the sharing of the loads (both mental & physical), and yet, it is also nice to be back with your little family. But it was abdolutely lovely to see how well it went. I imagine ypur mum especially must be so happy to see with this video all the beautiful improvements and changes to the house since she was there. It really does look beautiful! But I am so sorry to hear about your surgeries. I really hope that's it for you both, and i'm really glad the outcome was as good as expected. Keep well, and don't overdo it, it's the turtle that won the race ;)

Agreed! Given everything going on, like having just had a baby after a very rough pregnancy, having the baby in the hospital, and then being in the hospital herself, and having a whole farm to keep up in the meantime, I'm in awe of what she and Mauro have managed to accomplish. I kept expecting them to go offline for a month or two to get things sorted and would have totally understood that if they had.

Esta quedando muy bonita la cocina. Y tiene mucho mérito que lo estáis haciendo todo vosotros. Te hará mucha ilusión tener tu casa avanzada para cuando llegue el bebé. Habréis pasado entonces lo peor. Si de momento es mucha tarea poner puertas a los armarios bajos, estas cocinas de campo quedan maravillosas con cortinas y es muy práctico, se lavan y ya está. Yo lo tengo así en mi casa de campo con unas cortinas que además tienes gallinetas. Un beso fuerte y mucho ánimo. ❤❤❤

For staining wood etc, you could use a scrap piece of cotton. It might be easier than your brush. The kitchen is looking wonderful, you should both be so proud
