I really liked the 'previously made' mug where the father tops extended below the lower 'boundary'. Sometimes, coloring outside the lines makes things better and that's something I'm struggling to keep in mind these days. Thank you for sharing!
@annruel19829 ай бұрын
Hey Em! I love being able to demonstrate the technique and then try and give you a sample of the design that is just a little different to show how even little changes can make big differences. I cant do it every time, but I love when it works out like that. Thakns for noticing.

My favourite is the black and white mug that the feathers went over the horizontal lines.

Awesome! I just wanted to show people that it is alright to go outside the lines every once in a while...sometimes it is preferred, right. Thanks so much for watching. Happy potting to you.

These are lovely! Like learning new skills. Are you working onto porcelain?

Hi Anna. I am so glad you liked it. Yes. My favorite clay to decorate is the Standard brand English Porcelain #365

Did you put 3 layers of underglaze before starting curving? Thanks for explaining.
@LittleStreetPottery5 ай бұрын
no, I carve when clay is leather hard
@CeeJayKay4 ай бұрын
I have been working on a bowl and made a mistake, scraped away some underglaze in an area I shouldn’t have. And there are indentions from my tool where I scraped. Is there any way to patch that up with more underglaze and Make it look OK after the final glazing and firing?
@LittleStreetPottery4 ай бұрын
Underglaze at greenware stage - clean up at that stage - then high fire. Cant fix after bisque, really tough.
