If my memory serves me correctly, this is a snippet of history. First was IH (International Harvester), then Dressa, then Dressta. Obviously lookslike now, that LIUGONG has bought out Dressta. Terex, originally bought the Payhauler truck line, Komatsu I think bought the scraper line & may have had something to do with the dozers as well, but not sure about that. Komatsu did make a couple of models of scraper, but they weren't exactly a success. Also have a feeling Komatsu may have had something to do with buyin into the designs of the old IH excavators as well. I own an old IH 412B elevating scraper, & wasn't long after my yr model ('78) that my model, came out as a Dressa with a Cummins engine. Its a pity that this model or size is not made any more, at all from any manufacturer, as they are very handy for the smaller jobs.

Komatsu bought dresser trucks. Terex didnt buy anything dresser , they bought euclid and then euclid got sold to volvo. Liu Gong got what remained of dresser in early 2010s
