@@gabrieldevoogel6225tbh I was more disappointed in the live show than the movie. I saw the movie for the first time two months ago. This is because I was already aware of the whitewashing, bad acting, bad choreography, and bad name pronunciation. It was just a fun thing to watch and make fun of since I already didn’t take it seriously. But this live action was a DISSAPOINTMENT. I actually took this one seriously and was so let down on execution. I was confident in them but I hate the way this live action played out.

The Suki episode was where I gave up on this show... How they completely disrespected Suki and had the gall to go on a tirade about how they don't wanna portray problematic themes, while having Suki drool over Sokka like he was a piece of meat. I guess it is not problematic if you leer at guys? Also i have to point out one of my favorite lines from Suki. After she kisses him, she goes "I maybe a warrior, but I am also a girl". Bravo... What a mic drop of a line. The showrunners wrote her to be badass while still acknowledging her femininity. It is not mutually exclusive and the ones who think it is are unironically sexist. They see femininity as a weakness and they have no right to talk about problematic things. AFter this episode, I just paused the show, took a couple breaths (I was very close to snapping my laptop in half XD) and closed Netflix and removed Avatar from the currently watching section of my account. I will not touch this Piece of dog turd adaptation with a 20 ft pole. I cannot watch them poo all over one of my favorite characters of all time Toph, which I know they will do because apparently Netflix employs child labours as interns to write their shit

Yeah nah the moment she started rambling about zuko facing and almost defeating ozai she lost me. terrible opinion. All of the qualities and growth are gone, and the biggest threat is now beaten by a child.
