Hey I had emailed you at the beginning of the week. I did want to let you know that we replaced the throttle body and it did NOTHING. No change. So finally just took it to the dealership & they did a pcm reset, pcm update and throttle body relearn .. 160 bucks. We have a ‘03 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 and we did literally the EXACT same thing you did. Started by doing a throttle body relearn at home, then truck went into limp mode-no pedal. We took off the sensor pressed pedal & there was data. (Oddly enough, we did this before even watching your video) lol. We then replaced app sensor, then throttle body and had absolutely no change at all- still had lightning bolt and still no pedal and still throwing same codes. Dealer told us the way to fix it is to reset your pcm then update it then do another throttle body relearn. I know you had asked me if we replaced the throttle body yet. So I wanted to give you an update & let you know what the fix for this was! 😊

Does your scan tool require WiFi to operate or just to update ? Thinking of buying one bit WiFi is real poor where I live . Thanks

You do not have to have wifi,but it does help

Thanks again for your help .top man .scan looks a great bit of kit although I'm not great with tech . Tempted to buy one after watch your video. Like you I do everything myself and as I said limit support in Scotland for anything to do with dodge rams .so really appreciate your time and help .

hey whats up I too have a 2003 ram 1500 with hemi having the same problem. I took it to a few shops nothing so i am hoping you can figure it out. If I find out anything on mines i will post it on your comments, i think they have the same are nearly the same problem. Arlando

i did the same thing and unpluged throttle body and it runs better but still dead pedal ... 350 new throttle body too

Replacing it with a mopar throttle body is to your discretion.

@@autoguydiy4244 so I gave up on trying to fix the issue with my lightning bolt limp mode issue and had a tech from dodge check it out. He ran a vacuum leak smoke test and found that I had a leak coming from my intake manifold. He dropped a seal kit on it and I have not had any issues anymore. Been driving it for a week now. I’ll keep you updated on how it is doing a month from now.

i tried to relearn the throttle accelerator and it says app 1 low voltage , check my page man i need help thank u

You need to look for a broken wire are shorted out connector

I have same problem on same make n model..so far you have the only Legitimate Answer...ime disabled and it seems to only happen when ime on high way and Far from home
