@@pamcollins1651 Let me remind you that the jury is watching every moment of this and I can guarantee he's already been found to be displaying, acting guilty, in how he responds, replies, continually interrupts with no clue of why he's interrupted, in their minds just by his blatant disrespect and not having any knowledge of how to act in the presence of adults. As a juror many times I can assure you the way a defendant behaves in front of the jury is always discussed when it's time to begin discussion at the end of the trial. We're looking for any glimmer of remorse, anger, disdain, behavior in any way showing disrespect or anything out of the norm.

Can I just point out that every day he says “I do not dispute any of the facts in the charging instruments”, so doesn’t that mean he is admitting he’s guilty of the 70+ felonies he’s charged with?

That’s what I thought??? I’m so confused about his daily initial statement? So if he’s not “ DARRELL BROOKS” but he’s representing the defendant and he doesn’t dispute the charging instruments, then is he saying that The actual “Darrell Brooks” is guilty? (Punctuation is very important to him lol)

He knows full well that he is a guilty man and will spend the rest of his life in prison. For now he’s just doing anything to junk up the proceedings and he doesn’t realize what a bad impression he’s leaving on the jury. So on the one hand, his behavior is going to work against him and on the other hand the judge being so accommodating is going to work against him also. He’s the proverbial dead Man walking

50:45 It's interesting how Darrell Brooks doesn't bring up the apparent "shock device" on him until all other arguments have failed. 🤔 I noticed this every time he brought up the "ankle shocks." Always randomly thrown out as an attempted "bomb" in the middle of an unrelated discussion [in the grand scheme of things]...always following an extended argument with the Judge/court where he tried to get his way numerous times, using numerous tactics. Only when they all failed repeatedly did he suddenly bring up these apparent "shock devices." 🙄 ☑️ I don't consent [to the jury viewing going forward]! ☑️ I don't understand! ☑️ What's the relevance? ☑️ Not constitutional! ☑️ How is this legal? "By what lawful law?" ☑️ ...Well, my interpretation of the law is different! ("It's supposed to be interpreted by the people," etc etc.) ☑️ I'm not disrupting or stalling - I'm just seeking to understand! _[We can't continue until I understand, which you also can't force me to do.]_ ☑️ Not fair! The state had access to [X] before me! ☑️ I'm still not understanding! ~•~•~•~ He goes through them all, and after many minutes of DB trying to stop the jury viewing of his car from happening...NOW is when he decides to bring up that he has ankle shocks on. 🧐 ~•~•~•~ The reason the Judge even had to call witnesses & put it on the record that there were NO electronic shock devices in Darrell's shackles in the first place, is because he brought it up by just throwing it out there as he was being escorted out! Constantly, the Judge would tell him "no" about something else, he'd fight with her, and when he finally gave up, he'd change the subject to shock devices. Honestly, you can tell when Darrell has registered that he's not going to win an argument based on when he randomly changes the subject to "WELL, I HAVE SHOCK DEVICES ON MY ANKLES!" or the most popular, "WELL are you going to address Subject Matter Jurisdiction - which has yet to be proven for the record??!!" ~•~•~•~ And ~ *for the record* ~ I don't believe Darrell ever had shackles on that had any electronics in them...and definitely not ones with the ability & intention to electrocute him! There would be so many downsides & risks associated with putting him in shackles that could actually hurt him. (Risk electrocuting officers as well...even worse: Electrocution could be cited as a valid distraction making defending oneself way harder, etc.) And...for what? Darrell is already chained to the table. There's a giant armed man right behind him...multiple other big armed men nearby...and even more armed men in the building who can be called to help if he becomes violent. There is a holding cell open & available to put him in immediately as well. I don't see why the shackles would need to have the ability to electrocute him at will. For sure:If Darrell had actually been shocked at one point, we would have heard about it! I'm surprised he didn't lie and claim he was shocked at one point. So, if he legitimately was? Oh man he would have loved to take advantage of that to bring the trial to a screeching halt so he could scream and cry and "everyone focus on me & how much pain I'm in!!" Just look at how he weaponized getting a pathetic bruise & small cut..or faking a shoulder injury. The existence & severity of those wounds can be proven or disproven, however. Meanwhile, he could report any level of pain from getting electrocuted & how could one really disprove it? POINT BEING: Darrell was never shocked, so his only reasoning for *believing* his shackles had that ability is because someone told him so. In my *EITHER:* ➡️ *(A)* Darrell is lying. He knows they aren't ankle shocks. He doesn't actually believe it and he knows no one told him that (which is why he never provides the identity of who told him, no details; only focuses on how we can't prove someone did NOT tell him at some point). *Or...* ➡️ *(B)* Darrell genuinely believes his shackles have the ability to electrocute him. In which case, either: (1) He was actively lied to about it - purposefully manipulated into believing it by someone as a trick/prank, most likely by a fellow inmate or friend. (2) He misheard what the officers said when they told him they were "SOFT shackles." _(Reminder: There is so little metal even available for electronics in his shackles, because he had the exact opposite of "ankle shocks." They were SOFT shackles - purposefully designed to not make noise when he moved around (which he did a LOT).)_ ~•~•~•~ OK /End rant sorry lol ✌️

DB TRIED EVERY MINUTE OF THIS TRIAL TO GET THE JUDGE TO MESS UP. HE FAILED COMPLETELY. Despite HIS DISGUSTING RUDENESS AND DEFIANT BEHAVIOR, JUDGE DIROW NEVER LOST HER COOL. MIRACLE!!!! One does wonder if DB ever really thought he could win anything. What was his motive for pleading not guilty. I think it was simply his MASSIVE NARCISM AND HE HAD TO REVENGE THOSE WHO ACCUSED HIM, ESPECIALLY ERIKA P.
@anuv2960
@anuv2960 Жыл бұрын
There is no incentive for him to plead guilty. A defendant usually pleads guilty so that they can get a lesser sentence and the state can save the trial costs, it is a win-win for both. However, as Wisconsin does not have death penalty, most of the defendants like Darrell Brooks or Chandler Halderson know they will be spending the rest of their lives in prison so they would rather make the state waste money and victimize the victims again. It is just a game for them as the verdict is definitely a foregone conclusion given the evidence in both cases. I bet if Wisconsin had death penalty, they would have both plead guilty in a heartbeat.

In my opinion, she has no reason to continue to fight with Brooks on that Saturday and Sunday. Maybe this attack could have been prevented. She knew what kind of animal he is. He ran over her foot, and she had a restraining order. However, she continued to stay in contact with him. It had nothing to do about their 15 year old daughter.
