About 8' heightened 1000 lit water tank allows me to irrigat 220' long and 4' wide raised bed with two drip lines;drippers at 2' ! 3.75 per minute discharge at last dripper! ( Every dripper give almost equal discharge) beds are leveled by hand.not land!

Hello, I will be purchasing some rain barrels from you closer to the growing season in my area and I am just wondering if there is a chart or something with info on how to accurately water each type of plant and how frequently, ie. tomatoes require a more open bubbler emitter and lavender requires emitter to be more closed. I have a garden mapped out with the irrigation system, I just don't know yet quantity and frequency of watering.

do emitters give their rated gph with a gravity system or is it less? i have a barrel that is 4 ft off the ground and everywhere it feeds is pretty much level but i just wonder what the feed out of a 1 gph dripper would be since that is much less then the pressure of a hose line.

Good question! In all our testing, this is the best timer we've found for gravity feed. We do hear of occasional defects and there is a 1-year warranty on this product, so we've never had a problem replacing when needed. Do you need to use this type of bubbler for gravity fed if your already have an irrigation system with spot spitters?

You can try what you have but not all drip irrigation gear works without pressure so if you don't have any luck, you'll want to try equipment that's meant for no-pressure applications. Will your system work on drip tape irrigation?

Hi there - drip tape is not recommended for gravity-feed because it takes a fair amount of pressure to fill the lines enough to expand the tape. The kit shown in this video (and all the equipment available at bluebarrelsystems.com) is specifically designed to work with gravity-fed barrels or tanks. Got more questions?
