We really need an Era appropriate sword. Swimming animations and mechanics is not challenging at all. Hopefully we get deep lakes at least with larger biomes. Just turn off damage from players to all structures.

7:35 I would settle for magic ammo scaling off of magic better and having better utility. Right now the DoT scales off of magic about the same as enchantments, but maxing magic on a firearm is a massive waste since the damage is insignificant compared to what it would be if you ignore magic and focus on ranged. For the slingbow especially, magic ammo is basically just a grenade launcher, and the DoT is a gimmick. Also, lightning and ice magic ammo should do something special. Fire/poison have damage/time, but ice only seems to paint them white briefly, and lightning just sparkles. I'm assuming there's some effect that goes with frost, but the description doesn't really explain what it does or to what degree. It feels more like flavor than attribute. Lightning ammo is only really useful against automaton and stuff with other resistances, but ice is kinda useless. Neither lightning nor ice have any damage modifier, and without that and special effect they are not very appealing ammunition compared to fire/poison. Since 0.2 magic ammo for firearms has taken out the explosion entirely, making it pin-point elemental damage + effects. Slingbow still has the explosion, but the damage/time no longer makes a magic slingbow really all that useful; full ranged damage out-shines any damage/time from maxed magic...and that's without considering lightning/ice at all because no effects/bonuses. 12:13 That would be great. Abeyance realms don't have the same geography as other realms, and I've seen some really beautiful terrain that I would like to base-build on. They have better canyons and waterfalls, but also other greatness. Speaking of, more terrain features options, please! Rivers cutting through rock is great, but what about rivers creating small tunnels/caves through the rock, possibly including an underground lake/pond? Or legit canyons both narrow and wide that cut across a larger part of the realm? The realms are beautifully done (one of the greatest features of the game IMO. Games that put a lot of effort into landscape are greatness), but they could do with some more attention. 14:15 The essences showing on the map is nice, but they show the same as creatures. I don't need more essences, I need more creatures, so hunting them is more of a hassle now. 17:20 Glyphs are iffy. Sometimes you can see the glow, sometimes you can't. Sometimes they're hidden partially in a wall, sometimes they're not...and sometimes they're totally hidden in a wall and you can only hear the sound, forcing you to go crazy trying to find an angle where it lets you interact. It's a real pain. 23:50 Must have that. Invisible pieces is great and all, but floaties! 38:40 What about upgraded portals? Crude look really rough and that doesn't mesh well with advanced tilesets, so shiny and faster-opening portals when? 45:50 That can be a problem. Some materials are great for specific stats, but some stats aren't given many options at all that make them viable materials except at low levels. Some, like magnesium and copper, only have one attribute, but by the time you can use magnesium (level 100 pick) you can already use pursuit (also 100). Some materials aren't all that useful at their level of progression, and low-end materials don't stay usefl past theirs. The soft/hard cap makes it necessary to sometimes spread out attributes beyond a single one, but there are only so many viable options. That goes for all material types. So many have the same or about the same attributes. 46:57 Yes. More quests, please. 49:05 Trap trigger radii are too small. Blastminer can have some creatures walk right over it and not trigger, but that's typically locusts and similar things. Blast radius is good, but with tiny trigger radii they're harder to use than they need to be. Game is great overall. Obviously some more potential to be realized, but still a great game.

Honestly, not really. The realms are pretty big already. They just need more content, IMO, and to "feel" more lively (much more than now) before considering bigger biomes. If they just made the biomes bigger rn or soon because of some demand, they'd feel more lifeless than anything. I'm sure they want to avoid spatial alienation caused by an insufficient amount of focal points, activities (especially when they're repetitive), and a lack of human scale. Atm, the realms have a lot of space to work with if they want to get creative with them. They should only really increase the size if the scopes of what they're trying to do requires it.

The main issue is the similarity and the shallow game loop. Despite the varying visuals, the basic structure of all realms is the same and we end up going in, finding the Fae Tower, visiting the interesting POIs in the most efficient order and going home. Sure, the Fae Tower is somewhat optional, but people will always use it and rob themselves of the exploration aspect.

@@RemedieX The realms are small... Calling this game an open world is a flat out lie and false advertising.. Valheim is an open world game Enshrouded is an open world game Palworld is an open world game Nightingale currently is not
