You are doing a great job getting food on the table and it's great that you are trying out new things. Throw a few raw baby carrots and ranch dressing on the table when you are having a busy day and you are feeling a vegetable is needed with dinner.

I didn’t get in on your live, but am enjoying the replay. I subscribed a couple days ago, and watched your food shopping and clothes shopping. I’m 67 & my two children are 45 & 42. I’ve not been out much at all since March due to health issues. I miss my people interaction and would love to have some of your excitement here. I looked for your recipe for the bread, but couldn’t find it. I wish I could reach through my tv to get a slice of that bread. It looks yummy!!!! You have wonderful children and I’m seeing what an amazing Dad you are. See you next video. 😊

Dinner for every house hold is what ever you put on that table for the day. Are some days something out of the ordinary yes that is for everyone. Their are no rules when it comes to feeding your family. It must be incredibly hard some days to be a single parent. You can do a lot of things with those rice packs they are great for busy days. Try adding some chicken and veggies the kids like the seasoning mix helps flavor the chicken and the veggies. I even turn them into a crock pot of soup with a few added ingredients.

Tom, you can prep your crockpot at night, seal it with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator overnight, than pop in the crockpot to cook in the morning.

It looks like a great meal for a single working dad of 9.. Lol sometimes I find myself just making mac and cheese or just rice.. My motto is its better to make foods that dont traditionally go together as long as my kids will eat it... Full bellies on happy kids is better than a pretty plate of food that wont get eaten.. From 1 single parent to another, Tom you are doing an amazing job with your sweet children.. My 👒 off to you😍👨👨👨👨👧👦👧👧👧

If you spray some water in the oven while it bakes, it will get crusty. I would be careful about putting crockpot insert from fridge to cooker, quick temperature change could crack the crock! Don't ask me how I know.

when you were mentioning coupons, my sister who is a major coupons said they are not like they used to. Stores are not having the deals like they used to so she has cut back. I did it for a long time couple years ago, it took much time and had to drive to this store and then another one in another town because the one store was out. Even though I got items free or cheap was it by the time I used up gas and my time. It took hours some weeks. And I was driving places I would not usually go because I had that store in my area but to get the deal and availability yep it was crazy. I am a single parent too. My sister is not but also works full time and the deals are not like they used to so we just buy what we need and balance it out budget wise. God is always there for us to stretch things. You need to learn some short cuts can biscuits are a great short cut for chicken pot pie. Pinterest has some great ideas. Tom its time to teach your kids how to cook. Its one of the best life lessons you can teach them. It will help make your life so much easier. It can be great fun for them as well.

Prepare the crock pot meal and put it in a freezer bag and just have one of the older boys put it in the crock pot the next day.

Tom I hope you don't mind, I ordered another curtain like the last one, for the girls room and getting it shipped to you, as I noticed you like the two curtains on the windows. If it's not long enough or you and the girl's don't like them, I will not be offended at all if you don't use them. I just don't know how the kids handle not having curtains, but I know that's an American thing, I'm always fascinated when I watch American movies, or other American KZbin channels and they never pull there curtains, specifically in the bedrooms, I have to have my room pitch black and could not handle sun rises and no privacy. Each to there own I guess lol. Love you guy's.

I don't know if this appeals to you, you could cut up meat ( I am thinking beef stew) carrots, celery, onion, and place in a ziplock the night before. The next morning dump into the crock pot, add broth and cook on low all day. Add your spices and a can of potatoes 20 minutes before. Serve with bread yum.

Please get a large Instant Pot and try different recipes it’ll change your life! Things that take all day to cook in crockpot take 45 minutes to cook in Instant Pot, it’s amazing! Especially for cooking meat!! Even frozen chicken is super easy!! Look up videos on an Instant Pot! Trust me!!!! :)

That’s a great way that you make Mac and cheese.. I tired. Recipe at thanksgiving with cream cheese in it.. my son wanted me to make it.. he liked it .. I thought it taste werid the way you make it is how I usally do it also.. the bread looks yummysome times when I make box Mac and cheese we put the seasoning packet from chicken top Roman in it my kids like it .. have you guys ever tried it?

Yes!! I use chicken broth and a little soy sauce usually. I also add in onions and garlic, sometimes a few mushrooms too

If you have a Sam's club or aldi watch those places for a dutch oven. They have them sometimes and they seem to be affordable

I think if you had a bowl or something you can cover it would work. It needs to cook so long at such a high temp, that it would burn to a crisp without it.

When I first started making it I used a recipe on Allrecipes (Chef John’s No Knead Ciabatta). The video was really helpful. It uses 1/4 t. yeast and needs to set 18 hrs to rise. I baked it on a jelly roll pan. There are a lot of variations of this bread recipe out there!

@@TheMillsFamilyVlog found tons of ideas and I felt like I was reading your words you say in your pizza lives about proofing lol I found one using bread pans, no cover but to place a tray of hot water at the bottom... all the extras to do I think buying a Dutch oven is better as it has many uses and keeps the Dutch bread simple.
