I have a Blade 150 S wanting to take next step up, which do your recommend 330S or 360S? Reasons why for a beginner to intermediate pilot, you would pick one of the other please.

Both are excellent choices because they are very easy to fly in Normal mode due to SAFE (even easier than the 150)! The Fusion 360 is a bit more capable in the Idle Up/Stunt flight modes though, plus it's more durable overall due to the additional carbon fiber and metal parts, so we would suggest going with that if you don't mind the price difference. But you really can't go wrong with either one!

No word about the obviously noticeable many chokes on all the wires..... can i remove them or do i have to keep them on??? And if do can you please explain why, because i also have the newer version the 360 fusion smart... and it doesn't have those ridiculous chokes on it better and cleaner wire management, please let me know..... great video....thanks

quite a lot has been improved, from Frame to tailrotor, powertrain, electronics blades, the whole design was changed. I love the new Fusion model Looks and flys sick :D

1300 to 1800mah but you may be able to change the mounting holes on the canopy to fit a 3000mah 6s pack in there. My Blade 360 CFX 3S I run 3000mah packs and had to modify the canopy the Heli flies great.

Robin Schmidt I’m using aftermarket packs from Amazon. I had to cut new mounting holes in the canopy to get it to fit with the bigger and longer batteries.

Because they expect for you to already have a controller. Because this isn't recommended as your first heli. If you've flown before then obviously you'd already have a controller. Regardless it wouldn't be cost efficient for them to release a rtf version because the electronic is only compatible with a gen2 and up radio at least 160$ or more. So a rtf version would be around 700$ 800$ if not more. But if you do the math. If you buy it the way it is bnf basic. After getting a dx6e and charger and battery it'll run you near if not less than 800$ same difference.

ist basically the same size just Comes with 350mm Blades now instead of 360. I prefer the 350s anyway. Really excited for this one :)

360 is fine. I went from the Nano CPS to the Blade 360CFX 3S. If you lower the headspeed a little below what the book says it flies very predictable and responsive.

matty drebz you can get a 360 CFX cheaper than this Heli and replace the receiver with a BeastX Plus gen 5 and uograde to pro buy paying for the pro upgrade firmware that will give you rescue features and even different training modes with bank angle limits so you can fly it with confidence in lazy easy mode and then you can flip a switch to 3D. You can even set it up to get inverted and flip a switch and it stabilizes into an inverted hover. It’s pretty cool. I bought a couple Gen 5s on eBay for $100 each so it’s not that hard on the wallet if it saves just one crash on either of my 500 size helis I’m building right now.

James M that's a huge leap ,possible but the 360 size can hurt you pretty bad. Maybe go with the 130 or 230 next and invest in a sim.

I bought one due to this post. I regret it now. It is a dangerous machine and should be banned. 1st flight had a slightly hard landing where one of the mains hit the grass without a scratch and we found a stripped servo after. Replacing the servo and setup without the Spektrum transmitter able to go into servo centering mode, was a challenge for a beginner. We finally sent trans and Blade back to HH for a factory inspection and repairs of anything needed. Got it back and things were great for one flight. Took it to the field yesterday so our club expert 3D pilot could run it through some stunts and adjust things as he liked. He felt the head speed was a bit low for him and put it to 90% in stunt 2 mode. On the 2nd battery, during a normal stunt, it stripped another servo and crashed lightly. Broke one of the main carbon fiber blades. Now we first thought, there must be plastic gears in the servos and I needed to switch to metal. But the HH KZbin video this morning, clearly says it has metal geared servos. So does this video. So, we are very confused. It is going back to HH again. We both not so sure about its quality. Please be extremely cautious when you fly this beast near anyone. Keep it way far away. It's an accident waiting to happen. Maybe just one out of a thousand with bad servos?? No can say yet. But give it a good workout way high and away from people at least several batteries worth. PS: The main rotor plastic gear is showing much wear after 3 flights? It needs to be metal as well. For a near $600 Heli, I would expect much better..... Just me I suppose. I hope your have better luck with yours. I thought it to be a great performing machine, well built, and things easy to reach and very 3D capable during the first couple flights... Now, not so much....

Thank you for this comment, it confirms my suspicions. I recently watched a vid on this same heli and one of the commenters said he had one but replaced the servos with a better brand. My thought was for the high price of this thing it should have good servos and you should not have to upgrade them. He said his new servos were much better. I am convinced that most if not all BNF units have the cheapest components available to make the highest profit. I learned this the hard way on another purchase. The main rotor plastic gear is showing much wear after 3 flights? Ridiculous, Ill definitely pass on this one.

Well so far my fusion 360 has been a disaster. I have 20 flight on it and the 6cell version profile DOES NOT WORK. The model shakes and wobbles and I have tried about a 100 possible gain configurations and even at the stock 50, 50, 7 Stock P.I.D setting the model does a HARD CORE nose did when you do any "stir" maneuver (Piro Flip) "IF" I could get it dialed in it would be great size heli ...but as of yet NO JOY in this heli. I have made the mistke of ordering the 6cell set up but that may be a total waist of hard earned money. SHAME ON HORIZON for this release with out the bugs worked out...OR AT LEASE HAVE A DOWNLOAD for it as a working base line BIND AND FLY IT IS NOT
