@@jonwingate5535 that’s awesome! 3s is perfect for that, I found it was really underpowered for my liking and 4s was a good middle but really needs 6s. But it’s a great flying heli!

@@westhobbiesrc8051 i was born with a blind eye..my "figure it out" brain has always went to my drumming..ive always been awe inspired with helicopters..rc entered my world in about 2012..im 58 yrs old..drumming (since 1977) has always been my focus but rc helicopters will be as close as i ever get to the real thing..i appreciate your videos..i just try to imitate the helis that fly around my house..hospital and century link..lots of as350s, and bell 407s and 429s..thank you my friend..happy flying

Thanks for watching! Helicopter is bone stock exception of the 10 tooth pinion and 4s 2200mAh. FBL is a stock tune as well just added more positive and negative pitch.

Thanks for your video, I hope to buy this in a few months time and I gave my 3s 2200 when they become outdated for planes . Is there no way possible this could be sold with 3s-4s out of the box with a better ESC ???

Thank you for watching! So the ESC can handle it no problem. It’s actually the motor that you have to be careful of. You can run 4s out of the box. I don’t say it in videos because I don’t want somebody to burn something up if not done properly. I have personally went back to a 11T pinion (stock that comes with the heli) and run 4s out of the box. I just lower my head speed 10% or so and the model is happy.

Hi, and thanks for all your videos. My Fusion 360 Smart came without the bailout operable. I tried so many things, it wouldn't even start in normal mode, so I reset the model and set it up by the book. Still did not work. I finally got it working by changing Channel Assign - 5 to INH, and Gyro Channel - Gear, and the P-Mix channel to I-Gyro. Is this crazy or what?

For its size yes, if you want the best BNF then look into the Goosky S2. But for a 360 size heli you can’t beat this Fusion 360 smart!

Great video, thank you very much. I've got mine today with 3S batteries. I've setup the radio and spooled the heli up in my backyard. I've wanted to enter forward programming for setting up stability at SAFE, but forward programming didn't show up in the menu. What did I wrong? Does the battery need to be fully loaded to enter forward programming? I'll appreciate your help. Thank you very much in advance.

Thank you, so when going into the radio there is no forward programming selection? What radio are you using? The fusion 360 is a great heli, one of the best Blade helis ever made! I need to get it back out and fly it some more and make more videos on it!

There's no forward programming listed in the menu. l'm using a Spektrum NX8 and I also own a Blade Infusion 180 and a Blade 230 S Smart and with both these helis forward programming is available. I also own the Spektrum XBC100 smart accu checker and when I plugged in the 3S 2200mAh batteries there was a software update available for the batteries, but I can't imagine that updating the battery has anything to do with software programming. Do I have to update the 6250HX flight controller?

@@markuslang6695 that is very strange, the NX8 Definitely has forward programming. I would try rebinding the heli. If that doesn’t work then try updating the 6250HX. Forward programming should be there when the heli is binded. Did you use the radio setup file or make your own file?

@@westhobbiesrc8051 I fixed this issue in the meantime. I've added a new model and did the setup acc. to the manual. And after plugging in the battery the menu forward programming was listed. And, what's mysterious, I've switched back to the model I've added originally, and forward programming was surprisingly also listed. So, problem fixed, but don't ask me... Perhaps the reason was the battery: My first try was with a battery at storage voltage, the second try was with a fully loaded battery. Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate that very much. Hello! So that is a very difficult decision lol they both fly so good. I would say 470 just because of the power. But it really depends on your flying style! You can’t beat the fusion 360 it is an awesome helicopter but you also can’t beat the Trex4 70! If you are a smack 3-D or even hard 3-D style pilot than 470 all day if you are a beginner or intermediate pilot that doesn’t care about the power than the fusion 360.

Have you noticed any issues with the 6250 FBL unit? I've been trying to play with the PDI and roll rate but it always feels sluggish. Safe mode off in Stunt 1 and 2.

I have bit on this one but this is the only 6250 other then my Infusion 180 and Fusion 180 that I’ve played with. Cyclic feels sluggish?

Yes. Very sluggish. It's like it only wants to hover and this is in Stunt 1. And, 100 DR and no expo.

Hello! It’s a fantastic Heli! Best BNF blade has made this far! No tip over issues with this one. It’s got the 6250 FBL witch is great! I use a IPhone to record my build/bench videos and a GoPro hero 8 for my flight videos.

And i bought a gopro 4 black hero adventure edition this week. Looks brand new very little used. I have to find out how to get the best shots. Thanks man

That is what I tried to warn you about when we spoke last time. They are known to tip over with the 636, your best bet is to pull it out and put in a iKon 2 or Brain 2. You will never look back and be so much happier! Are used to use a hero four but the quality was never great no matter what I did. So I finally bought the gopro hero 8 and it is night and day difference! The four would always have light issues and you couldn’t zoom in or even record in high quality. So I highly recommend if you wanna get into recording flight videos get yourself a hero 8

Yes man I know it. Will be placed in the future the Brain 2. The Blade 270 will stay on the shelf for a while. And that GoPro I will have to do with it because the money does not grow on my back. 😁 I still have a Spektrum AR7200BX lying around, I think I'll put it in there for a while.

I’ve had zero issues with these packs, I only have about 20 flights on this heli. Never tired Zeee packs but have had great luck with HRB. I do have a bunch of spektrum smart packs and all been great.

Yes, just 10T pinion. No need to charge motor or ESC.

What are the advantages of running 4s if you have to reduce pinion or reduce rpm with throttle curve? Is head speed higher with 4s even after changing pinion to 10t or reducing throttle 10 percent? If not higher head speed is it more torque? Just trying to understand the benefit.

The head speed is slightly higher but the main benefit is torque. You gain a lot more torque while keeping around the same RPM. when pushing the heli in harder maneuvers on 3S it bogs down pretty bad and don’t have the power it needs. 4s will give you more power and torque to help with that.

Would it be ok to keep stunt 1 with factory throttle curve settings and run 3s for sport or light aerobatics and set stunt 2 throttle curve at 90 and run 4s for more aggressive flying, all without changing the pinion. @@DenzilSmith-qj8wl thank you, I glad the videos are helpful! So yes, you can run 4s with out doing anything but at 90-100% throttle curve after about 4. Minutes the ESC gets hot and will set the temperature telemetry off. Now I’ve upped my temperature In testing and been as hot as 220 degrees and the ESC has been fine. That’s on 4s with stock pinion and 100% throttle curves.

I just picked up one of these and am super excited for the first flight. So far, I can only fly in safe mode pretty well, and am planning on getting a simulator as well but I was wondering how well the stability mode is out of the box and if you have heard whether it is constant through the market or not?

Congratulations on your new heli! The fusion 360 is a good one! Stability mode is good out of the box. Of course every heli will be different but you should not have any issues.

I just changed pitch in the servo travel menu. Used a pitch gauge and added value until I got 13° of positive 13° and negative

I believe it’s 126% positive and 128% negative but double check with a pitch gauge as it can be different from radio to radio.
