Not every pistol has that issue. I went back to the shop to check; the ones they have in stock don't have that problem. Several weeks ago, I saw the shop had a Black 4.25" used one for sale. I tested it, and it has the same problem. I guessing the original owner didn't want to deal with that problem and sold it. I was going to buy and fix it myself, but someone had already purchased it online. A lady came over to pick it up about 5~10 minutes after I looked at it. I wonder if she know about that problem?

I actually know why the grip safety is sticking. The gun comes with a RedDirt trigger. its adjustable with the long allen key it came with. it the adjustment is not correct it can cause binding on the internal grip safety ledge where the trigger bow makes contact. try loosening out the adjustment screw to open the clearance. All the polishing you did helps. i have the same gun and the trigger pull is down to 2.5#. look into that RedDirt trigger adjustments i thin that will fix your grip safety issue. good luck

Any issues I had are all fixed. The inside bottom of the grip safety digs into the grip and causes it to stick to my grip. If I remembered turning on the camera to film the wip, you would see where it was digging. When I was playing with the leaf spring, I brought it down to sub 3 lbs; it was too light for me. I'm not an expert shooter and don't feel competent with such a light trigger, so I pushed it back up to around 3 lb.

I thought about making an after-repaired video; I'm busy with work and family late, so I am still determining when to get to it. I do believe you should contact Live Free Armory and send your Apollo in. I have talked to their CS ( he contacted me after he saw my video). I believe they will take care of your problem and make things right for you.

Some people are having this issue after putting magwell in pushes up on main spring housing and pinches grip safety.

I am not a firearm expert, and I don't pretend to be one. I consider my skills at the elementary level next to nothing. But I know enough that the mainspring housing is seated flat with the grip. No amount of force from the hammer spring will push the mainspring house downward. For the same, releasing the hammer will not allow the mainspring housing to move upward because the mainspring house is secured in place with the pin. So, how is it possible that installing a magwell will push the mainspring housing up? Both magwell and mainspring housing use the same hole in the grip. If the magwell caused the mainspring house to move up to pinch the grip safety, that's a lot of upward movement! If that happened to some people, for them, the problem is not installing a magwell. The problem is that their grip pinhole is so severely worn that it allows the mainspring house to move up and down; their grip is junk at that point. But again, I am not an expert; what the hell do I know, right?
