Have you ever thought of making a dalek storm custom because that would be awesome!

It is on my list on things to make (I often get asked to make it) but it would require alot of scratch building so I need to plan it carefully. So yes I will make it one day but don't expect to see in it the near/foreesable future haha

They do occasionally have their uses haha, the actual model itself is well made, it's just a shame that the proportions are so off

A great custom Jimi! I really like how you bring a non-visual character to reality! Although I'm still a bit confused, if you don't mind, could you tell me some more information about this Dalek?

Thanks, and it's from the novel Engines Of War and it's basically been made by the Eternity Circle to house the War Doctor so they can turn him into the ultimate Dalek War Machine, it's hard to describe unless you've read the book but I would highly recommend it!

It's a great custom to try and sorry but neither this nor any of my others custom are for sale, and as for supplies if you mean Dalek parts then eBay is always a good bet but if you mean construction materials then have a look in model/art shops close to you, they might have them

Wow, that is an amazing custom. The chair is superbly made and the colors set it off wonderfully. Also, i have a spare (fat) 5 inch dalek and was wondering what i could customize it to look like. I can;'t make this one as for me, it's too difficult and challenging for me to attempt, so seeing that you've done it shows how skilled you are at customizing:) Keep up the great work:D

when i was going through your videos and then found this video custom predator dalek video and my mind thought predator film cross between a dalek i thought that was the idea but i was wrong haha

You could also call this the flasher Dalek. Is Engines of War a pretty good book? I've been slowly getting back into reading books for entertainment purposes, and that's one that has kinda grabbed my interest.

Well it doesn't really have anything inside to flash haha And it is a very good book! Well worth reading, especially as it leads right up to Day Of The Doctor and also fills in some more gaps regarding The Doctor's life during the war!

I don't have any plans to as the simple fact is that the Dalek models aren't big enough to fit any figures inside them and so to make something like that would mean building a model from scratch, which isn't something I'm interested in doing

Seriously...why has the BBC not hired you yet? Do you have any idea how much I'd love to see these beautifully made customs as actual props in the program? You deserve more subscribers and a say in the BBC workhouse.

Thanks, although to give all due credit to those that actually build the Daleks they have FAR more talent that I could ever hope to achieve and deserve far more credit than they get! They are some of the true behind the scenes heroes, without them we've never get the Daleks we seen on screen as it is!

That's kind of what the Special Weapons Dalek is, although a concept design for the never made Nelvana Doctor Who animated series did show a tank like Dalek

I decided to leave it blank as it's technically inactive until someone is inside it, plus the very early eyestalk don't have a flat surface in the centre to paint on, it's literally just like a divot in the mould

Why not make a Clara figure using boss fights figures they are very articulated

Two reasons, firstly, that would still means ALOT of sculpting and work to make it look right, and secondly because it doesn't matter how articulated a figure is, the fact is that not figure in the right scale will fit inside a Dalek of the same scale
