I disagree with your claim that Claudia was in the wrong. She didn’t choose a coven over Louis. She just wanted to be part of a community. The coven for her is like joining a college frat. She still comes home to Louis every night. Their bond is stronger than the coven. Claudia still wants Louis to be present which is why she asked him to attend her first performance on stage like any other person would in their desire for the family and loved ones to see them shine. She has the theater she Louis had his photography. They are both exploring themselves and their identity through creative means and the exchange and speak about those experiences and both have given excitement and praise for their new aspirations. This for Claudia even strengthened her bond which was evident when she finally told Louis in detail of her assault over the course of weeks. This indicated the she trusts him with her most traumatic experiences however in contrast Louis could not do the same in telling her the truth. That was the point of the scene. Yes there is nuanced that Louis decided not to share that information with her because he wants her to find happiness for once in her life. But Louis continues to fail her even after being told that Armand threatened Claudia and did nothing to protect her. In conclusion, Louis is in the wrong. Louis has failed Claudia in soo many ways and it took years for her to want to be able to speak to him. But now Louis is falling her once again. 16:07

I think episode 6 will finish with the start of the trial and will be cut on the cliffhanger because it’s when real Lestat will appear.

I agree with Michael with it not being all Louis faults. Louis wasn't the only one being naive. Pieces he put together mainly came from Claudia. He played the game so good by acting like an ally instead of treating her like crap like the other vampires and she let her guard down just enough for him to catch her off guard with questions and her not going exposes that she has a diary but keep the one she has where she plots to kill Lestat and actually goes through with it was dumbest move on her part. But I agree with the Amanda and Bobbi, Louis was the one that asked Lestat to turn Claudia and Louis went along with the plan to kill Lestat and instead of pulling rank let Claudia play in the lion's den when they should have left once they would out they knew Loustat. Amand even warned him that he needed to leave Paris once he started to loose control of the coven, but like Claudia, Louis is underestimating the coven and it's going to be his and Claudia's downfall.
