That’s why we have so much confusion and false doctrine in the church today. We must correctly interpret and silly scripture. Perfect example being the law of Moses. Do all of the laws in Leviticus apply to Christians in today’s age? Of course not, that’s because those laws were for a different people in a different age. Same thing applies here, some scripture from the Old testament does apply SPIRITUALLY to the church, but most of what was spoken by God through Moses in the OT is for Israel, not the church. That’s why God spoke through His apostles in the NT, the church has different doctrine than OT Israel.

And there are plenty of scriptures that are directly for the church. The new testament is for Christians directly, and like I said there are many things in the OT that have a spiritual application or spiritual lesson for the church. But the scriptures written directly to and for Christians is the new testament.
