I enjoy stitching on higher count and use a 6” wooden hoop with the fabric loosened up in the hoop.. This way I can handle the fabric better and still do the sewing method of stitching… I am so in love with the Liberty chart kit by Littlehouse and can assure everyone that they will absolutely love the Belle Soie silks!! Keep up the great work Kimberly… We all love what you do!♥️♥️♥️

I use a spring hoop a lot when I cross stitch but I always put it on the opposite way with the plastic hoop on the bottom and the metal spring on top. I find I never get tangled in the metal clasps this way and it is easy to finish off my stitches on the back of my stitching. Give it a try-you may like it better too. I love your videos & had to order Sleigh ride because it’s SO cute!

I started cross stitching years ago and I have multiple ones on my wall. Back then Paula Vaughn's cross stitch patterns which were exquisite patterns of quilts and sewing machines and outdoor scenes with quilts - So glad that cross stitch has come back into vogue! I love all kinds of Hand Made arts) I quilt, cross stitch and crochet love new friends (am a professional training) so I like to teach too!

I love watching your flosstube every week. It's on while I'm working so I can't watch live, but it's the first thing I turn on when I sit down on Wednesday evenings. I am most excited for the Christmastime mystery SAL and plan to stitch with you! I may also stitch the Tiny Modernist Nutcracker Tree. I got the pattern and all the supplies from FQS last year, but when I started Nutcracker Village, I put it aside. Now I’m thinking it will finish much faster than Nutcracker Village, so may do it first. I’d also like to do a couple of ornaments, but haven’t chosen them yet. Super excited about the Pat Carson Needles, I hope they add on size 28.

Kim, FYI - you are correct that handwriting notes is much better method to retaining information. There's a Princeton study that was conducted several years ago that proves this. (I'm a professor and I quote this study and it's findings in my students every semester). So, it's not just you - it's science! LOL!

The Holly needle minder is my least favorite needle minder. The magnet is very strong which is great, but it make it hard to pull apart and the points on the needle minder hurts. I hope you will take this into account when designing new ones.
