I've listened to Tommy for years, but sadly, never heard Phil alone till after his passing. I stumbled on to a song I had never heard on guitar. It was Phil doing Nessun Dorma. It almost put me in a coma!! Since that time I am addicted to the brothers. It's like these two are from another world!! Genius, squared!! What passion for so long!! God bless you Tommy and RIP, Phil. From a SUPER FAN, Chuck Willis.

What a dead crowd. They are hearing the best in guitar skills and they clap like they're listening to a school play. This man deserves a roaring standing ovation.

Tim Campbell: The crowd aint dead, they just enjoyed him playing their way. So dont be that judgmentally harsh and hard on them! It is unnecessary, and it doesn't make it any better in any way! God's peace and love over you, and God bless you in Jesus name!

Tommy has made my life better through his music. Truly a gift from God. Phil's Song is fast becoming my favorite. What an emotional tribute to his brother. Great concert, thanks for sharing with us. Really is incredible what he does for love.

One of His best concerts and I've seen many. Too bad the audience was dead and did not know what greatness they just experienced.
@AmandaRogersarock19885 жыл бұрын
I've seen Tommy live and it tends to be filled with people who also play the guitar and are really trying to enjoy and actively listen to what he's playing. His concerts aren't really the type you get up and scream and shout at -- you're there to really dig in and enjoy the music. I think they really enjoyed it. :) .

As far as a "one-man-band" and "finger-picking" is concerned... he is the best there is! I don't know many other classical guitarists that play with the same enthusiasm and charisma that Tommy does. Such a joy to watch!

I taught my Son the rudiments of guitar then, when he got really good, and I mean quite impressive, I took him to see Tommy. Tommy played a small venue near Wolverhampton called The Robin2 about 10 years ago and it cost me the princely sum of £12 each ticket. It was standing room only (there were no seats) and he played a set that left everyone totally in awe and my Son with the realisation that there was much to learn. Thankfully the audience was far more knowledgeable than this lot, more appreciative and were still warm with two arms and two legs! Never tire of listening to The master.

Just realized this was posted maybe a week and a half after I got to meet him. Such a wonderful man and the greatest musician I've ever seen or heard. He will forever be one of my favorite artists. My only regret is that I never got to meet his brother who was equally as impressive. R.I.P. Phil.
