Really like when you use the X Terra pro, heard you say you are starting to like it over your Nokta. I only have the X Terra pro, but have not found any gold, and been using it for almost 10 months. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I dig mostly everything. I’ve found silver, but no gold.

The xterra pro is going to be my entry level detector. Ordering it next week. Anyone know if it’s ok legally to metal detect in national parks? We have a lot of acreage in my area with a ton of hiking trails!

Hope your right about this machine being a good bang for the buck. I just went and ordered one. I got an equinox 800,a bounty hunter qd2. I'll let you know about my luck with this one. One more question. How's the sound on the targets?

Hope you have fun with it! It's not quite an Equinox but for the price, pretty good. It seems to like coins but sometimes it gets a little confused on small targets or low conductors. I enjoy the sounds, plus a few tone options to play with.

The vanquish 540 metal detector works just as including the golden mask metal detector I have found lots of coins including a 10 karat gold ring
