The lighting ceremony of the Olympic flame was amazing, but the change in clothing was in poor taste.. It cannot be compared to the brilliance and authenticity of the white clothing and all that it symbolizes! 🇬🇷

I did not like the clothes at all! They are totally unsuitable for the magnitude of this occasion. Who on earth had the idea to change from the traditional all white Ancient Hellenes were wearing to white/grey/black?? One more effort to strip away the greatness of Hellas and separate it from its roots of many thousands of years!

All Greeks hated them as well. It's Mary Katrantzou's design and since she is a UK based, well known designer the Ministry of Culture just let her do her thing..and it's hideous.
