It was a long term planning by the kukis and they took advantage of the very innocent, simple and helping hand of the local people. They are also helped by the cunning Indian intelligencia without knowing the implications in the near future. Earlier it was nagas followed by meiteis whom the kukis tried to clear. Shanti sapam is not worth listening to. The indiginous meiteis have alot of retd. Army officers , inspite of their backward status. They should be given the St status but they don't consider themselves as "hao". If the meiteis are st, they must accept the term "HAOTHU". Which 80% of the meitei population are not even aware of the real indiginousity.
