1 billion to build the huge holding tank as part of the process to clean Paris Seine. Olympic competition to be held in the Seine. For over 100 years Parisians have had a contaminated river flowing through the city...downstream impact not of concern. With the 2024 Olympic games and a handful of aquatic athlete/performers it occurs to the city of Paris to "clean up" the Seine. $1billion done. Points out the insignificance the French citizen, the downstream countryside, spanning a century of time.
