Renso. The little white pixels show a pattern of handwriting ( from notes or a letter of some kind) in the hair. At first i thought it was some kind of security option i(watermark) n the paper. Just thought you might check it out.

Hi Renso I love your portraits you are amazing. I am a pastel artist and when I use Canson Mi Teintes I used the soft side not the texture side since for portraits the soft side in my opinion is better

yes, sometimes, but i will dark the pastel if i decide to use a fixative i have to paint the lights again

It seems to me that the primary difference is the contrast. The photo appears to me to be much darker in the shadow and the area around the hair? Thanks

Beautiful portrait. If I dare, the nostril is a bit too small and the eyelid of the left eye is too low. Changing these 2 little details makes your beautiful painting an absolute perfect Emma Watson. Amazing work.
