its a good thing i don't drink or do drugs but i swear i'd fail that sobriety test at the roadside because i cannot stand on one foot and i have skeletal issues that make it hard for me to put one foot directly in front of the other without tipping over. they'd so arrest me for being drunk based solely on that alone. thank goodness for the breathalyzer if i ever got even pulled over which knock on wood has only happened twice in my life both were warnings and ive been driving for 30 years!

@@supposedly1-2 I can't do the tests either, I literally carry a letter from my doctor in my glovebox explaining my disabilities and balance problem. Doesn't mean a rude cop can't drag me back to the station to take a drug test (which I'd pass) and seriously inconvenience me. These days they usually want a blood sample over a breath test, and that's BS too! I don't need some cop poking me with a needle!

You can hear how genuinely happy the officer is she's sober. ❤ He was delighted at her thanking him. Cops often get lots of abuse, but she's honestly greatful. Police are people too, it mattered a lot to him. Now she has her kid and is doing great. I'm really proud of her, she knows it needed to happen for her to get better. Knowing how to admit that is proof she is a good person.

The interaction between the female crash victim and the officer is so honest. Anyone who has done 12 steps knows that you do not change until you hit the bottom, the fact that her previous arrest was her bottom and she lived through it and got sober is great. Many people hit bottom over and over and never change, some hit bottom so hard they die. Her honesty brought me to tears. I hope she stays clean and happy.

I have a lil peep tattoo and i say im pretty well off, i just connect to his music which talks about mental illness, abuse, sorrows, hardships and many more. I was a drunk/druggie for 20 years but I've been clean and sober for 34 years now and I still thrill to hear of others that have beaten the demons and made a new life. Usually it takes hitting the bottom to be able to climb up out of the pit and it sounds like her DUI was that point for her, now she's up in the sunlight and the joy.

Good on the cop for doing his job. Thank God for the righteous lady to tell him. It will encourage him to stick with it. Yeah, I had one DUI and I was so miserable, humiliated, and inconvenienced that within a year I was in recovery and have stayed in recovery (recovery is more than just quitting) for the last 30 years. You ARE NOT helping someone by assisting them to avoid their well earned consequences.
