Watching the event, it seemed more like he was trying to educate the Libertarians on how close to his beliefs are to theirs. Everyone upset about the crowd needs to realize just b/c trump showed up doesn’t earn their love and respect or vote. He gave it back to them by rubbing in their 3% and gave them good reasons to consider him. I think it was a W for Trump overall. I learned two things tonight. First I had no idea about the Libertarians numbers being at 3% as far as having a say or at least being heard. 2. I always thought that Libertarians were closer to conservatives than libs. Some of them definitely proved me wrong tonight. I guess the description for some of them is in their name. As I've said twice before in previous comments Trump threw out a "political" lifeline and some of them couldn't even see it. That maybe the only one they get.
