@breakthroughclothing I've never understood what determines how much PT to apply to garments. I remember a tech explaining it's based on garment weight. But, is it really and if so, how do we figure it out? A video explaining this would be FANTASTIC to see. Thank you!

@@websurfer2344 its dependant on the color and weight of the tee as well. Each PT solution has a baseline starting point of grams, and then you can adjust from there to lock it in. You want to apply the least amount needed to get the most optimal white. Performing a step test will help you determine that if you want to get really exact.

It varies based on color and fabric material. Understanding what dyes have a bigger impact such as a red or pink dye can cause more dye migration than a yellow or blue. to be honest some of it is just experience over the last 15 years and seeing how different colors reacted with the same amount of pretreat.
