Wow that’s a lot of cute little bunnies. We just adopted our 2 baby bunnies. They are half holland lops and half lionheads dwarf. Supposedly 2 females but 1 was sexed wrong.. we found out 2 days after adopting them, so we were able to exchange him for another doe. We missed the baby buck already, and I’m always going to wonder what we would’ve missed out if we keep him, esp after seeing this video. Our new bunny has the same color as Cora. We absolutely adore her, and she gets along with her sister fine. ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for sharing all the infos.

My holland used to spray me a lot when I tried to get in and clean his cage but once I got him fixed he stopped spraying and the territorial went away.

I just love your videos!! I recently got my own holland lop bunny from a breeder who was going to keep him for breeding but his ears never fully dropped so he has like little helicopter ears and he’s just the cutest thing ever!! His name is Otis and he’s a blue tort.

In Australia mixo (A pretty nasty thing a bunny can get and will kill them) is spread by mosquito bites but I think that's only in Australia I think and we have never had a problem with it. The rest of the problem they can get here is from rabbit to rabbit contact which is why my bunnies never were around or near wild rabbits. Yes wild rabbits are a problem here (Australia) which is why they keep releasing stuff to kill them but you can vaccine against most of that stuff. I lost my bond pare last weekend, this video is so good.

Yeah you should definitely not get a rabbit at 6 weeks old that’s too young so you need to wait till it’s 8 weeks old because that’s when its totally weened and won’t need it’s mom.

It always amazes me how expensive exotic vets (and vets in general) are in the US. Just vaccinated my rabbit last week and paid a total of 16€, and neutering/spaying varies from 60 to 80€ depending on the sex. I feel so lucky to not have to shill out so much money to properly care for my pets.

I am a new bunny mommy to 2 bunnies. We thought both were girls but found out that one is male and one is female. Honey bun had her first baby bunnies but they died. So I'm really worried about her next baby bunnies. They are outside bunnies so I'm worried about keeping them warm enough since it is winter here. Honey bun started making her nest today. Any advice on how to care for them? I got a box to put in her sleeping area & bunny heating pad to put under bedding.

I've never kept mine outside, but I would think plenty of straw/hay and the mom's fur as well as a wind block should suffice. Bunny babies do survive in the wild, albeit usually born in the springtime. Best of luck.

@@HooksHollands We put the hutch in the garage but it is not heated. I just learned that the male and female need separated b/c the male could kill the babies per my veterinarian. So I moved the female in the house but worried cuz I took her out of her hutch where she lived for months & she seems to not be happy inside in her new home.

My rabbit is not fixed and she’s not aggressive. I dunno 🤷‍♀️ I guess everybunny is different. But I also think I spend a lot of time with her and she’s around my space a lot as she is free roam... I adopted another bunny and she was very kind to the new rabbit... and most bunny experts said it might be a bad idea ... but they are good together:) I think they have bonded but I just let them get on with it.... there is no fighting ... guess there’s mutual respect 😂...

For all the complaints about bunnies chewing on stuff ... get rid of all your nice stuff... your relationship with your bunny and with the people you know is more important and has longer lasting unforgettable life changing memories than a piece of furniture which will deteriorate over time anyway, end up on the sidewalk with a free sign or dumped at Goodwill and cannot be taken with you when you leave this earth ... value living things not things..
