Awesome series. Would be cool to have interviews with Judoka's from all around the world!

Travis Stevens just bought your Ne Waza DVD so looking forward to that! Not been on the mat for 12 years but have built two grappling dummy’s and hoping to grade to 1st kyu soon just by doing lots of drills and no randori! I’ll let you know how I get on? Win lose or draw! Cheers Mr T!! 💪😎

@@TravisStevensgrappling HI Travis, I finally graded after 14 years off the mat and relying on my training with the dummy's to get me through it. Unbeknown to me the grading at the Budowkai (BJA) in London had changed. I expected to go up against a couple of green or orange belts but I was faced with all 1st Kyu's going for their 1st dan. I arrived late and had no time to warm up. A storm the night before meant the trains were all screwed up. So my first fight with no warm up ended in a draw but with no warm up I tore a hamstring. The next three fights I lost but gave a good account so got signed off by the Chief Instructor to go for my 1st Kyu by passing the theory. Subsequent training sessions I've had a bit more success and have actually thrown a few dan grades and have had more success in Ne Waza. The guys have said and had a good laugh at me taking so long off and coming back at the high end of randori at the club but have said I can hold my own. So basically I'm back to my previous level as a blue belt with 14 years off which I think ain't too bad.... Cheers

1:10:50 i would be really really interested in all those details you talk about, flinching and what not, for sure

I think I would take an hour or so to watch a full match and go over all the details I'm not sure if people really want that. But if the commenty things there is value there I'm more than happy to do some deep dives into some of my matches.

Please clarify Angie words about daily practice. She said 17-9. What is that? 5 p.m. through 9 p.m.? Right?

Judo and Wrestling should be more mainstream.😊

Loved it! I think Angelica should work on her seoi nage. She has so much potential on that technique.

She defiantly showed some power at that event.

I wasn't able to catch it live but really enjoyed listening to it just now. I am actually a little worried about going back to training because I feel like I am so out of shape :) (jk) (kinda...) :/

Please, try to make that Bischof's fight analysis "European Hour-Friendly". Who knows, maybe you can have more live audience from Europe, like me :)

Maybe I'll do it at 1 pm EST time on Sunday! That shouldn't be two late for Europe right?

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but the way how hasty Buchard was from entering tatami all the way to leaving and even running after the victory, it's so intense as if she really had to go to bathroom or something really pressing and she didn't have time for any formalities or judo match, she had to be somewhere else right now. Very unusual. Also the shidos seemed somewhat silly. She barely had time to take a breath and she already got shido for not playing. Btw was the win by now banned leg hook? This was a great interview. Seems like sometimes even when the best fight, the referee can be totally lost. Must be awful to have to smash a guy's elbow twice because the referee doesn't call it off.
