If there’s one fear in life I know I have it’s fire. I have massive respect for firefighters who risk burning alive to save a life. That guy was ready to sprint up to the second floor of a burning building to help someone, those people on the outside could have easily gotten him killed with misinformation I’m glad everything worked out and everyone’s safe

This brings me back to a fire that struck my place years ago. The fire fighters were spraying water on it when suddenly there were several explosions. I was shocked to see this and exclaimed that I had no idea what was explosive in there. It turned out to be canned vegetables that were blowing up. Crazy huh?

My uncle was a fireman who said basement fires require special attention... They could compromise the first and second floors with both intense heat, as well as a start point for fire traveling up the walls... They were able to get this one under control, and no one was injured...

People really need to calm down a bit and let the firefighters do their job. It's normal to get panicked in an emergency but super important to clearly respond to the firefighters questions without incoherently yelling the same thing over and over. They know what they're doing and the best way to help them is to remain calm and listen to what they say.
