Personally i think they should make the senior do an actual driving test instead of a written test. That way they can get a better visual of how they are. If they fail that test they should not be allowed to drive. But if they pass they can keep driving.

I believe the gentlemen was having a stroke or diabetic episode. As for the lady I believe she is suffering from something like dementia or something that is causing mental impairment. She was very confused, having a hard time taking in information, and could not answer questions coherently. There is something not right with her. They are much too old to be left alone. They need a care taker to at least take them out to run errands and go to appointments. They are going to get themselves hurt.

My aunt was recently diagnosed with Dimentia. But she is doing very well
@jill48064 жыл бұрын
It does seem like the gentleman was having a medical issue. But the woman was probably just extremely nervous, upset about her husband, and the sense of being overwhelmed by the situation. And for the people who don't know about the expenses of having a caretaker, it is so very very expensive. having someone just drive you to a doctor appointment, to the grocery store, or having them help you with daily activities in your home, can become an expense that can actually bankrupt someone. When you are a senior citizen, and you're already living on a fixed income, trying to add the expense of a caretaker into your budget is almost impossible. I don't know what the answer is, but the senior citizens of the world deserve better treatment than they receive now.

@@Desert10075 I agree, but a lot of the calls that police officers responded to are mental health cases, domestic calls, petty crime. I don’t think there is a need for a gun on many of those scenes, I think if we create a new line of officers that have more mental health training, that don’t carry guns only non lethal, and that go out with sympathy in mind and not crime. I think this would go ways to decrease accidental shootings and ptsd among officers due to those shootings. Look to the London police for reference on how this could work.

More calls the ladder truck has, the more likely they are to get more funding. (Oh it was such a good idea getting the million dollar truck) Volley departments if single guy shows up in a POV. Dept doesn't get paid. They have to bring the truck even for service calls to get the numbers up, more money/ funding.
