As a side note for selling to Canadians. We strongly dislike USA sellers that use the Ebay international shipping program. It costs twice as much for us Canadians in shipping fees and takes 3 times as long to receive the merchandise. Its not that hard to send a package to Canada using USPS or whatever carrier you prefer. Example, I purchased a tool from Lithuiania that was sent by their post and I received it at my door in Canada in 4 business days. I ordered a silk scarf from an ebayer in the states and it took over 3 weeks to get to me and cost a ton. I actually dont buy from US ebayers that use the international shipping program as a general rule. That was an exception and reminded why I dont buy from sellers that use it. Its extremely frustrating and expensive as a Canadian buyer of US based ebayers merchandise.

@@TheNurseFlipper We can, I've just excluded Canada from International shipping. (Account, Shipping Preferences, Exclude Locations, International, N.America, Canada.) Would it mean that eBay won't show my listings to the buyers in Canada? I would not be protected through the eBay International Shipping Program, but if nobody buys from Canada through international shipping, it may be better to take a risk.

There is a difference between the international shipping program and the global shipping program. Be sure you know the differences.

We noticed some really crazy things happening while working on listings yesterday as well. We thought that they must have been making some updates. It was completely random things.

About payouts to the new sellers. I started in March this year, had a daily payout set up, and was paid one or two days after the buyer received their item. After about three months and 20 transactions (one transaction is one shipment of one or more items to one buyer), eBay started to issue payouts right after the buyer paid for the item.

Yes, but there are a lot more countries than Canada and I don't think we can remove only one or two countries from it unfortunately

The PR email from eBay makes sense now that Leroy said when he sells to PR he has to print extra…. Maybe PR being included in the international program will take that extra paperwork away. May not cost the buyer extra.

I have had ghost listings where the items sold and it’s usually a multi quantity tried to challenge with eBay and they told me to pound fans. Unfortunately, the same item sold on the same day so I got two defects and then another plate from the same listing sold, and I got another defect all from the same listing. So frustrating perfect record otherwise

I am told to list consistantly and I do and I do sell similar and rarely get a sale more than a few a week...frustrating.

I stopped doing sell similar a few months ago and my sales almost doubled. I didn’t realize that every time you do it, you loose the watchers for that item.

I would say look at your items and check your pricing, sell thru rate, and your photographs. I do store listing reviews tomorrow if you'd like to join us

I'm ok losing watchers as I only do items listed for 3+ months if they haven't bought it in that time they probably aren't going to. My sales have increased from using the sell similiar
