We could probably cut the Federal budget by over 50% and most Americans won't notice anything at all. Tax cuts are not a "giveaway" or a line item to be paid for. We tax too much and spend even more and it has to stop. The logic of saying tax cuts have to be "paid for" is this: If I steal $20 from you every day and one day I only take $15, did I "GIVE" you $5? I know that a few years ago a registered nurse was making $70 and hour. Isn't that a little excessive? Its probably even more now. I suppose all healthcare professions pay similarly. And doctors probably triple or quadruple that amount. High healthcare costs are no mystery to me.

If the company can not afford to raise all their employees' wages, then those employees either get their hours cut or get fired. When, all the illegals here that are undocumented will get those employees' jobs because the company would pay them under the table. Since that happens, those illegals aren't paying taxes, so the taxes would be raised on the hard-working Americans to compensate for the government to make their money to pay the career politicians, lobbyists, and beaurocrats. So yeah he's right in identifying the symptoms but way off on the diagnosis. He says this at the same time of complaining about tax cuts.
