What's the odds for one with maxed IV's and HA? Because I managed to catch one of those and I'm still trying to calculate the odds

@@Seawolf.Gaming Do you remember the chain length? At a max chain (30+) it would be a 1/6827 chance for max IVs (32 for all 6 stats) plus HA, since it's 4 guaranteed perfect IVs and a 15% chance of HA. If you add in Salamence's rarity, that's a 1/68,267 chance. Was it also shiny?

@@ShiningSilvally ONLY if he ran from the encounter after every single mon that was called in via sos that would apply. However, that's not what he does. As soon as he finds one Bagon, he can cause sos encounters to occur indefinitely (if done right), hence you cannot include the initial 1% Bagon encounter rate into that calculation. (other comments here explain the same thing basically)

I know I'm off topic about this video, but I have a story of how I found my Salamence. On August 11th, 2020, It was 3:00 a.m. in the morning and I went hunting for a Salamence in my Ultra Sun and found that 1% Bagon. I kept hunting for Salamence, but during the SOS, I encountered a *Shiny Bagon!* I was laughing quietly because my family was asleep. But since I was looking for a Salamence, I knocked out the Shiny Bagon and kept hunting. About 20 minutes later, it came. I wanted a male Salamence and I actually found one. After I caught the Salamence, I got the most shocking suprise of all: it had *Moxie!* I wasn't really a fan of Intimidate, but Moxie is just amazing! In fact, I thought it was better than the Shiny Bagon! After that, I trained my Salamence all the way up to Level 100 and hyper trained it. Since the day I caught it, Salamence has been on my team ever since. My Salamence's Summary: Male ♂️ Level 100 Impish Nature HP: 331 Attack: 369 Defense: 216 Special Attack: 204 Special Defense: 196 Speed: 299 Moves: Outrage Earthquake Stone Edge Aqua Tail Ability: Moxie Held Item: Choice Scarf P.S. This is why I loved sun and moon so much. They had so much cool new things and this method in my opinion was the BEST shiny hunting method in all pokemon. And just the fact the did it in a way that u can get a chance to get rare pokemon like this salamance and also shiny marenie
