Do you know what the name of the medium size pine trees are
@Tank2452 жыл бұрын
They're probably just small pine trees.

They're pretty much all Ponderosa pines. I don't recall seeing any other pines at Train Mountain.

Nice locomotive! Roughly what was your maximum speed here?
@Tank2452 жыл бұрын
5-7MPH. 7MPH is max track speed. I generally don't highball either, this is a rather rare run for me to be going over 5mph.

what gauge do they use ?

Why does your locomotive shake so much? ✌
@Tank2454 ай бұрын
It doesn't. It's the camera mount.

You can hear a valve turning on and off once you start coming down the serpentine, are those air brakes?
@Tank2452 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. They are brakes, but it is not air brakes. They are steam vacuum brakes. The sound you are hearing is the steam ejector activating and "sucking" the air out of the train line to apply the vacuum brake diaphragms on the trucks.

@@Tank245 throughout your entire train, or only on the locomotive?
@Tank2452 жыл бұрын
@@burlingtonlittleine Throughout the entire train yes. The locomotive has independent brakes, and the tender as well as all train cars have vacuum brakes.
