I met Richard a few years ago at watch pro salon wearing MY Brew metric! He had a good look and tried it on so I take credit for that purchase! 😂😂 Richard was such a lovely chap. I’ve now got a mint choc chip and waiting for my pink lemonade. Good things happen to good people!

I think you boys were a bit harsh on Richard’s collection. Somehow nobody remembered to add the Mr.jones he mentioned. All those are super fun. He obviously owns a couple of his own stuff, which are fun af. Taking those into account, I think he has a very well rounded collection.

I went into a Tag Ad in Nottingham, what a pleasant surprise. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, let me try whatever I want on to wear….and some of the watches, ok getting to 5k/6k but seemed like a lot of bang for your buck. (don't get much for your money nowadays) Tag was my brand from the 90s that I grew up wanting…and not just the Monaco, (yawn) , but the Autavia Chrono flyback in silver dial, looked a bobby dazzled on my wrist. Some of the carrerras too, and for my son, I think an aqua racer will make for a great Christmas present( he's turning 18 too, so a combo present). Shamelessly plugged, maybe, but it's defo a brand worth reappraising. They can keep their digital screen nonsense, it's never gonna compete with an apple I'm afraid and every dollar spent there on R&D is a wasted dollar on the good stuff( including quartz, solargraphs, wow these guys had everything) great heritage, good product, kinda wondering why they were so far off my radar.

Is this a product placement event? I thought, when they started, that they were joking, but oh no. I have noticed that if there's a lull in conversation (getting more common unfortunately), then someone will mention one of their commercial connections. I feel the chemistry is a bit forced. TBH, thinking about not bothering next time.

That was hard work. Sorry to say, but I was transported back to "zoom" meetings during COVID. The product placement used to be funny, but now it's tedious. You need to have some structure, to keep it moving, and to stop certain people droning on and on. Getting guests on won't halt the decline. I think that you have run out of steam!

GB is the most boring commentator and designer. Having family money to start a business and even if you’re not doing well to be able to survive by injecting more capital, doesn’t make you a watch designer. Your designs are nothing fantastic. Also, ‘everyone is fantastic’, but Tag Heuer is the best, lol. Grow up!

I disagree with GB on many points, but I really appreciate his passion for watches and his exceptional perspective. I find it very unfortunate that he sometimes gets little chance to speak and is constantly interrupted by the other guys. Even though a bit of teasing is part of it, I think he deserves a bit more respect.
