Happy New Year to Syrians from Sweden. I wish you a bright future and hope you manage to rebuild your country and prosper. I also hope that all religions, women and ethnic minorities will be respected. So many gifted, creative and intelligent people have fled from Syria. I hope they will be able to return and contribute to the rebuilding. A lot of Syrian refugees are living in my hometown, Malmö in the south of Sweden. There are also a lot of Palestinian and Ukrainian refugees here. I hope they also get peace in 2025 so that the meaningless killing and destructionof of human lives will stop.
