It's obvious Luke Williams has a good grip on phycology and how he can work with each and every player and staff. It's exactly what Sir Alex Furgason did, he made sure he knew all the players girlfriends and wives because they can rock the boat, the backroom staff even the cleaners everyone he made sure he took the time to talk to. As well as every other aspect and skill set he has which LW seems to have too 👍man management isn't easy, you really do need to know everyone and how they tick to get the best out of them to fire the abilities onto the pitch.

On behalf of all right-minded WXM fans, may I wish your outstanding manager and Notts team all the best for the Wembley final. As you know, we have been through the heartache of failing at the playoff stage despite a huge points tally similar to yourselves. The system is against us, we all know that; the disappointment is overwhelming and I’d hate Notts to be yet another victim of this unjust setup which prevents excellent teams progressing. So good luck, Chesterfield have a great team, it won’t be easy, that’s for sure. Come through the day on top and take your well earned place in the EFL. We at WXM look forward to resuming the close contest between us next season; good luck again and enjoy the day.

What an interview! So relaxed, so respectful and insightful. Luke has something that few managers have (though, at last, more are getting there) - he is interested first and foremost in excellence in all that he does. This involves focus, attention to detail, structure, love and respect, unity and synergy, innovation, positivity … from all of this football flows.
