I’ve been saying this for years, bring back unbiased live football commentary. Genuine professionals. Bin of Neville, Carragher etc. They serve their purpose and have their strengths, but it is NOT live commentary. Genuinely prefer watching Arsenal on mute or with the radio on. Carra is excellent on MNF with post analysis, Neville is excellent on ‘stick to football’. Leave live commentary to the unbiased pro’s

For all of Simons pedantic stuff at times he called it correct straight away in the first press conference He’s out his depth…finally and to kinda repeat…watch him shout players from the touch line…he shouts and often doesn’t say anything else as they’ve not listened -that simply never ever happens to elite managers.

The easy part is to call for Ten Hag’s head. This has been going on since last year. The hard part is for Radcliff and his people to come to grips with what type of team do they want Manchester United to be. This would require an understanding of what this Club has been and how they played when they were successful. Of course they had the best Manager during their glory years but they also had a way of playing . A style or Philosophy of how the game should be played . Radcliffe and co need to first understand what type of football made the club successful and then decide if they want to return to that type of game or some other way of playing. If they think whatever Ten Hag is trying to do is what they want the. They stick with him till he comes good. If not, they need to pull the trigger and get someone who will get this club to play the way they want. Right now Ten Hag is trying to get United to play like Pep and City. He got his ball playing GK to play out from the back, his pressing midfielders, and his pressing Strikers. Doesn’t seem it’s working does it.

I watched big parts of the match and yes it was awful, however I did notice that on close ups the players looked exhausted and this was 30 minutes in, it looks like they are not fit. Similiar issue that Potter created at Chelsea (to be fair Potter had a lot of injuries) but its a concern. Spurs frequently slowed the game to a virtual stop and Man U did players did not react. Very weird.
