Hi Rob! Sorry to be a pain mate! I’ve got an issue if you could look into for me please! I’ve just ordered a ghost fret in goblin blood green! I’ve rang Anderson’s where it’s coming from & there saying there’s no gigbag with the guitar when it gets dispatched to me! Firstly, the funniest joke in the whole video is at 1:25:44. Secondly, this was a truly glorious trip down memory lane, thank you lads for the presh mems. I will always remember watching Rob play the Two Rock Sensor with the TC spark booster in front, the unhinged Ampeg GVT demo, the fruit pedalboard, and so many more. You two helped raise me and foster my love for music when I didn’t really have anyone in my life to talk to who knew about commercial music in general, not least the guitar, guitar gear, and pro-audio equipment. I’m now working as a touring/session musician based in Nashville, TN (a long way from where I grew up in Maidstone) and I honestly don’t think I would be where I am today were it not for you two. Thank you!

I have the ML-3 Trad BUT it's got NOTHING on the body, NO laquer AT ALL, It's just plain wood, so I went on the website, found the Guitar, but realized that one was 'Laquered!' Have very little to go on! I hope it's RARE! This time next year...we'll be MILLIONAIRES! 🎸😎🤣

For only a little more than the price of a passable Floyd you could do locking tuners, an LHS nut, and a VegaTrem and only have to do a small bit of work on the end of the the fingerboard for the the LHS nut-far less than modifying a whole headstock for a locking nut. You could also do a Stetsbar for the price of a decent Floyd. Floyds are fantastic but they are 40+ years out of date when it comes to practical applications. I played a Kahler as my number 1 for ages with zero problems and instant string changes. Two setups in 30 years.

Right now in my home studio I have 3 amps that I blend usually 2 for a song but I have a Diezel vh4 and an Orange rockerverb mkII thru a diezel 210 cab w celestions and 3rd is the boss katana. Katana has different speakers than the diezel 2 x 10 cab but the diezel cab is super smooth studio quality sound and mixes well w the katana speakers. I get 3 great sounds

Just ordered the Ghost Fret Pro from Thomann, hoping it'll feel and sound good in my hands. I'm so curious! :) Strongly wishing all of these demos had much better sound quality tho, with a properly miked up tube amp instead of all the digital nonsense.

I like to see a Left handed duo Guitars aka a V and a Ghost fret built similarly Mahogany bodies, Not sure of what type of neck depending on if it is a natural finish. IF it is the finish i choose a trans purple. then a highly flamed maple neck, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, Painted reverse headstocks, Gold hardware, Original Floyd rose tremolo, Dimarzio Super 3 (Bridge), Either Dimarzio 2 Fast track 2 neck and middle or a Dimarzio Humbucker from hell (Neck) Or sustainiac pickup. 2 volume and 1 tone control, Tone is not hooked up to bridge pickup. Maybe add a treble bleed to it, depending how these pickups sound coil split. (find a way to wire when coil split that the volume does not drop. Dean Zelinsky - former owner of dean guitars, claims he has pickups when coil split does not lose volume.) FU Tune Upgrades as in titanium Floyd Rose parts, Silent/Noiseless springs, Titanium Sustain block. Also the Floyd rose would be recessed but the recess would be painted and sheilded and made where you can use a EVH D-Tuner. AAAA Flame Maple Top And maybe back as well (depends) If not just Trans Purple, What Makes this different this will be a arched top with beveled sides almost making the V and Ghost Fret, Look Like a Ibanez S Series type guitar with slim body. Also absolutely no weight relief. the Neck would be like the 90's Jackson Dinky's Which i have a trans red jackson dinky the neck is awesome. Depending how the body of the guitar looks with the arched top, bevel edges add abalone or white pearloid binding on it, the neck and headstock. Also Headtstocks will have high grade flame and painted as body. Neck painted Trans purple to show off the flame Maple if it is maple. I have no issues if it is walnut, mahogany, etc. as for fretboard, i prefer rosewood, so both guitars would have the same specs. These duos would be called the royal twins. I don't think there ever was a arched top v and Explorer type (Ghost fret) style guitars. Not talking about a massive arch to the top but enough to notice. You could even offer the guitars in H-S-S, H-H, H-H-H, Or H-S-H pickup configurations, and a Chose of string through bridge or Original floyd rose, 2 volumes and 1 tone and five way switch and if possible if they make it a dual 5 way or dual 7 way pickup selector switch Especially for the H-S-H. H-H-H pickup configurations. Even without the arched top but with beveled edges to make the guitars seem slim like the Ibanez Sabre series guitar bodies, would look different for the Ghost Fret and V. Also a classic duo guitar bundle called classic rocks. a V and Ghost frets built normally but with classic old school cherry sunburst, or faded red and duncan P-Rails in neck and middle position. These would be like twins or brother and sister sets. Could be a new way of selling guitars, you could do this with all the current models take two different model make them similar looking with same specs and create a name for it. Example The Old Captain Lee Model and ML-1 say both of them come floyd rose tremolo with day glo green paint job you could call them the toxic twins set. Those are just a few of the ideas i have. I love guitars so much and being a broke left hander makes it almost impossible to get instruments like i want them so i have to imagine. even come up with ideas for new parts such as a dual 5 way and dual 7 way pickup selector switches. So that way my ideas for a V as it would be with a Ghost fret as well because when both were done left handed i wanted so much to get the left handed versions but at the time bad luck struck my elderly brother was in the hospital, or only car broke down, etc. to much bad luck to go into here. But could not afford to get those when they were offered left handed. So again i have to imagine them. So that is how i come up with these ideas.

This is a point that's often-made in the gear world- if a piece of gear does more than one thing- ppl are going to say it does no one single thing perfectly. But- I would assert even though this is true- the difference between it and that piece of gear that does that one thing perfectly- is so minor it's more than made up for by the utility and versatility of the multipurpose unit. Also- ignorance plays a huge role- let me explain- don't get mad, I'm going to use myself as an example. I just bought a Head Rush MX5 and man was I disappointed. Sounded like a can of angry bees opening soda cans- fizzy, harsh, thin. And each patch was running a cab sim- which everyone had told me you had to have, or it would sound fizzy, harsh, and thin. So, I thought "This is it- this is as good as it gets- and it sux!" Fast forward about week later and I figure out the unit needs a firmware flash- it's really out of date. Plus- nothing I'm running is using an IR- so I download some. Wow- what a unbelievable difference. I even downloaded the IR for the 12" cream back 75- which is what I ran with my tube amp that tore up just a few weeks back- and it sounds almost exactly like my old amp now. Now before I did that, I was online complaining about the unit- so this is what I mean when I say ignorance plays a big part in gear not sounding as good as it can or catching a bad rap. I still have no idea what an IR really is but- I know it makes things sound better on the MX5- and that's all I need to know. Other than where I can buy some more good ones- anyone know?

I'd go for a great clean amp with a little umph on the 2nd channel and some pedals to customize it. Never happen for me bad health and finances. What would you recommend to get into a valve amp on a budget? Don't know if I'll ever afford one but I'd like to make a budget bucket list. First on the list is the Bugera G5 and maybe high end replacement valves. Any suggestions for a dream (budget) valve amp? Or is the Bugera the best choice?
