But through people like Petey, He teaches us humility and how to be nonjudgmental and see his works through families like Petey's. They can show the world how circumstances that can alter your life and may not be what you signed up for, but God makes it all oh so worth it. It's not right for anyone to tell someone they are wrong and I'm sure that is an insult to God. God bless you. 😂 no

@@martyhoward8812 Hi there. So, if I may ask, did your daughter get "gawked" at in public? Maybe it's just me, but I have always felt that that is rude and hurtful. I grew up with special needs people including my cousin who had an inoperable brain tumor that was discovered when he was 4. We had to tell him to chew when he ate so he didn't choke himself. He died when he was 8. He used to ask our Grandma if there were French fries in heaven. So I bet he's been eating French fries 24/7. LOL. I think it's important to educate people on special needs and disabled people because the most uncomfortable feeling in the world is uneducated people who stare/gawk and whisper. Every parent I've ever known who has special needs children always say they'd rather have those people come to them and ask about their child/adult and treat them like you would any person. Walk up and say hi. I don't understand some people who still look at special needs people like they have leprosy or belong in an institution! Why do you think that mentality still exists? It drives me nuts when people stare when I'm signing to my deaf friends in public. Chances are higher that they don't know sign language, so it's not like they can eavesdrop. 😀 I bet you loved your daughter as much as you would if she hadn't had special needs. I commend you because I know how hard it is trying to protect special needs people. I apologize that you misunderstood me. I said God doesn't create haters, but I didn't accuse YOU of being one. I just wouldn't ever tell someone they are "wrong" in regards to God. I know how I feel about it, but I won't know for sure until I'm standing at the gates with my journal full of questions for God. Oh what a handsome young man. He has stolen my heart away. His infectious smile makes my day brighter. I admire you as his family. You’ll are really good with him. I know that life gets hard but I know the Lord watches over Petey and his whole family. I took care of my baby sister with special needs until we lost her in 2022 of Covid. I wouldn’t trade a day of that time we had together.

I my first Grandchild was born with Menkes ,he was so special he had the biggest blue eyes and smiles that would melt your heart. Watching Little man Peter reminds me of him ,he went home to be with our LordJesus when he was 4YRS old . His Gramps is with him now and I am going to see him again someday. I used to work in a facility for children born with many challenges like your beautiful son. The families were not in the picture. In watching these moments with you and your son you have disclosed the challenges (and solutions) in having him at home. And you do it so well! Your family is encouraging so many to try harder.
