Exercises To Lose Belly Fat After 50 - Hey guys, in this video tutorial for how to lose belly fat, I am going to give you three great exercises to lose belly fat after 50. Make sure to stick around for the last time because that tip is going to speed up the process to get rid of belly fat. So, let’s get started in this video tutorial with exercises to lose belly fat for men over 50.
The first exercise to lose belly fat for men is simple, it is sprinting. Sprinting is great for our hormones, and increases our testosterone. That means that your body is going to use fat for energy. The great thing about sprinting is that your body doesn’t stop burning calories and fat once you stop running. Your body after sprinting or anabolic running continues to burn fat and calories for hours after you are done running. Steady cardio will not give you that afterburn effect that sprinting or anabolic cardio will give you, which is why this is a great exercise for belly fat. Sprint in place as hard as you can for 20-30 seconds, rest for a minute, then do it again 3 more times. So, that is the first exercise to lose belly fat for men.
The second lose belly fat exercise is mountain climbers. Mountain climbers are a great cardio, but they also engage your core and really work your midsection. Mountain climbers also trigger that afterburn effect, which is huge for how to lose belly fat. These are great get rid of belly fat exercises, so make sure to do this in your weekly workouts. Doing high intensity interval training is fantastic for building muscle, burning fat, and it improves your cardiovascular system. I am going to show you two different ways to do the mountain climbers. The first method is just the normal mountain climber, where you bring your need up to your arm, and alternate. The leg you are bringing up to your arm, do not let that foot touch the ground. Another way to do this exercise that is a little easier, this the same exact thing. Only this time, when you bring your leg up, have your foot on the ground at the top of the movement instead of keeping it in the air. That is the second exercise to lose belly fat for men. Let’s go to the last and most important lose belly fat exercise.
The third and most important exercise for belly fat in this video tutorial with exercises to lose belly fat after 50 is called bicycle cross crunches. This is one of my favorite go to exercises to work the abs and core. This exercise really does work all the muscles in our core, which is helpful and one of the best get rid of belly fat exercises. This exercise is also great because it doesn’t put a lot of stress on your neck or back. It is a great all around exercise that burns a lot of calories, and it is way better than planks because planks is a static exercise. So, I am going to get on the floor to show you how to do this great belly fat burning exercise for men. This exercise may feel awkward at first, but the more you do it, the more you will start to get used to it. Do not put your hands behind your head for this exercise, keep your fingers on the side of your head to make this one of the best exercises to lose belly fat for men. This is important because it will put less stress on your neck. For this exercise, you are going to bring your elbow to the opposite knee. Also, what’s great is you can do this exercise fast, or you can do it slow. Both have such a great impact and this is one of the best exercises to lose belly fat for men over 50. Now you know how to lose fat belly. You are going to feel the burn in your entire core when you do this amazing exercise for how to lose belly fat.
So, here is the bonus tip I have for you in this video tutorial on exercises to lose belly fat after 50. Are you ready to know the secret for how to lose belly fat? All of those exercises won’t help you, unless you are eating at a caloric deficit. That is the key to these get rid of belly fat exercises, eating at a caloric deficit is crucial. You need to eat at a caloric deficit on a daily basis, and that is the key for how to lose fat belly. A caloric deficit is making sure that you are burning more calories than you are putting into your body on a daily basis. Well guys, that was the secret I had for you in this tutorial with exercises to lose belly fat for men over 50.

My father started his exercising routine at 57 years old. 15 min. a day in the morning every day of his life. He passed away at 96. He played tennis until 95 and golfed until weeks before he passed. It’s time for me to start my routine and incorporate this routine into it. Thanks for the kick in the butt!

Genard Toney: It’s a bit difficult to explain in writing, but he started BEFORE he got out of bed! First, he started rotating wrists and ankles. Everything was 20 reps and for him, only one set. He wasn’t interested in bulk, but in strength and ‘wireyness’ if there is such a word. So, rotating all limbs using all groups of muscles every day. Rotate wrists/ankles left, 20, then right, 20. He’d slide his legs out of bed then, arms, then pushups, sit-ups, then deep knee bends, then 3lb weights for an array of exercises that mimicked both golf and tennis movements. The one that impressed me the most was alternating sideways looping motions with each arm, from chest, to above his head (like a press) but in a rotating/looping motion. From outside to in for 20, then inside to out-motion. That’s the gist of it. He had a six-pack at 96! Blew me away! I wanted to do a video of him and get him on late night tv. He never wanted to be a fuss, but i kept telling him how many lives he could save if he did the video and went public. I even had a t-shirt made up for him that showed the US highway crest for I-95 (because at that time he was 95 years old) with the wording something like this... “I-am-95” “Exercise” “Enroute to a Long Life” He passes away before I could give it to him and get the ‘finished’ video done. 😭 God bless his sole.

As someone who lost over 100lbs this past year I can tell you the most important part of this video was the information about calorie deficit. All the exercise in the world won't matter if you can't control how much you eat. You have to fall in love with the feeling of being hungry.

Great advice. I've been skinny my entire life, at 40 I started developing a belly. No matter how much I worked out( ab excerises) and jogged, my belly never went away until I changed my diet. Stopped eating breakfast (yogurt & granola), which I replaced with heavy cream in my coffee, and only ate at noon and at 6pm(6-8 hour window). Cut out 90 % of my sugar intake and reduced carb intake 80%. Lot's of protein, eggs and greens (salads). I lost 10lbs all off my belly and now have a flat stomach. Continued exercise has produced ab muscles and better overall energy and health at 50.

It's true, over 40, we have to watch what we eat to keep slim. I'm 42, I'm a skinny but a toned 10 stone with a 30" waist and a flat toned stomach. I've kept my waist the same size for 25 years. I just have one meal a day. I run and weight train. I'm not muscular just toned, which is amplified because I'm skinny. I've got good calves because I go running and train them constantly with calve raises with a massive weight, my legs are so thin, they needed some muscle and definition, just so they look ok when I wear shorts. I've trained them that hard, they look ripped!

Great work out! I just completed it with 30 second reps, followed by a minute and a half rest, and two minute rest in between different exercises. I feel the burn and I’m breathing hard and I can feel like this was a really good work out. I just completed 2 1/2 days of fasting, and then did this work out , going to fast 24 more hrs. I don’t focus on calories but rather staying away from the wrong foods and eating more natural fats, proteins and high fiber vegetables.

@@johnhead6116 I actually do a 5 day fast several times a year and shorter fast occasionally. First day is toughest, then second. Then your body is pretty much burning on stored fat. You get really clean out your body, autophagy starts to eat compromised cells, metabolism gets better. If your are trying to drop weight after your fast stay away from carbs (less than 50 gm per day) and you will continue to burn fat. Check out videos from Jason Fung or Dr. Jamnadas, or Sten Ekberg. It takes time but I’m 58 and at the best weight in 30 years, under 160, lean and trim. I started exercising at the end to tone up. Now I try to exercise about 5 times a week to keep looking tone. I feel way better, less aches and pains

Went from 250 pounds to 165 in a little over 2 years. You have to stay consistent. I was in a size 48 in waist but now im a 30 in waist. Its hard work and i did all this with multiple injuries. Consistency is key and if or when you fall get back up. My health was so bad i was having major heart problems and on the verge of a heart attack so I changed my whole way of life. Now no heart problems. It can be done if you're willing to put in the hard work and if you do you will be glad you did. If you do have health problems like I did be careful and ease your way into it. Start off with body workouts then go up from there.

thank you very encouraging. I'm 58 and have gone from 270 to about to 250. Alot of health problems. I have been working out for about 6 weeks and the 1st 20 came off easy. I eat great 5 days out of seven and eat like a jerk 1 or 2 days a week. I hope to be in your shoes in 24 months. Thank you

@@stephenmartin6430 Your welcome. Just remember to do you and go at your pace but still challenge yourself from time to time. And as always it starts in the kitchen. Remember its a way of life not something you just try but through time excell at and it becomes your normal routine. From time to time throw some intermittent fasting in if your trying to lose weight and gain muscle. When you get discouraged because you hit a plateau don't fret just mix it up a bit and do what works best for you. 16/8 method is a popular fasting method so look it up if you like but its basically this. For 16 hours of the day you don't eat and only give yourself 8 hour window to eat. If you time it right you will be asleep for 8 of those hours so you only go 8 hours awake without food. When you do eat make sure its healthy. Properly proportion your plate. Healthy fats, healthy carbs which should be the least on your plate along with protein which should be the most on your plate. Treat your plate like a clock. All this with proper exercise that works for you and you will see results. Not only will you see them but since this becomes your way of life you get to keep what you earn. Do not worry about diets as they are short term just eat healthy and burn more carbs than you take in. Food should only be used as a fuel source and nothing more. Consitency is key. Just don't give up on yourself and you will get there one day at a time.

I could make this a quick cardio session after my weight training course and take less time than my present walking routine. Then some yoga to stretch and cool down and I'm done. Shouldn't take much longer than an hour to an hour and 20 mins. approximately. Great, simple and effecient program Mark. Can't wait to start.

Im a 12 yr Army Vet n gained a ton of weight after getting out. You have given me the motivation to not give up. 30 yrs of Martial Arts, but gave up teaching cuz of my weight. You are truly a blessing to Vets, who are struggling with similar Medical issues n have given up. I am working hard to get to my ideal weight and help motivate others, who are struggling with similar issues. For me this the Best way to do it, cuz we are not gonna stop eating. @Bob Hoffman Damn Bob, you have some enthusiasm.. I am 62, and since I have moved from California (195 lbs) to Louisiana (now 205), I'm in good shape but the food is my downfall. No Alcohol, no yogurt, bread only once a week, no pop/soda, fast food twice a week-but one is Chic Fil-a grilled, and I have never counted my sugar intake - but I don't add sugar to any thing even coffee or unsweet tea. Looks like I have some work ahead of me to drop 2" and 10 lbs and of course right off my mid-section. But I have to admit, I still love this Louisiana food, looks like I better start keeping a diary to see my income calories for a few days.. I have never done these 3 exercises together, but it is definitely worth a try.

Great Video, Starting in May of this year, I realized I needed to make a change for myself, and they key as you mentioned in the beginning of this video is Caloric Deficit. I have been obese my whole life, and tried every gimmick out there, then I realized it cant be that hard. I figured, that our bodies burn X amount of calories a day, and I needed to make sure I was eating less than that, so I started doing some research. I wanted to lose weight and I found out from several sources that the food you consume (Diet) is 80% of the weight loss mystery. If you burn more calories that you consume then you will lose weight. If you add exercise to that mix, you just enhance your results. I have lost 30 pounds since May of this year. The simple fact is, it is not hard. It is work, but it is not hard. Thanks for the exercise tips, I will try those in my home.

This video provides good info. I am pretty disciplined about exercise, but consider it's a lot harder to develop a regular routine than to do these sets of exercises once for demonstration purposes. I've found that vigorous outdoor bike riding from about April to October makes exercising interesting and I do stationary bike riding Nov. through March. Then weight training 3 times a week, 45 minutes a session, & I'm 65.
