Eat in Italia re the transfats and all else. In the 60's they started to ban many hundreds of additives that the usa allows -- I think the usa list is 7 things vs their many hundreds, including hormones in meat and so on. Great advice here, hats off to you!

Plenty of farmers here drink unpasteurized free range cow's milk, all of them are in excellent shape. I recently saw a farmer 71 years old ( I asked ) here chopping wood. Failing that I drink skim milk mixed with various whey products I already quit sugary drinks ( not easy in summer time ) so i'm not stopping milk.

Those farmers drinking unpasteurized free range cow's milk are getting the full milkfat. We consume dairy products by volume, such as a cup of milk. When the fat is removed, the ratio of milk sugar (lactose) is increased in the same volume of milk. That is to say, a cup of skim milk contains much more lactose than a cup of whole milk.

You do realize that butter , cottage cheese, sour cream, cream, real ice cream comes from milk . Don't you ? LOL 😂. There's nothing wrong with drinking milk. LOL 😂

@@musicman7297 I eat cheese occasionally as a condiment. I’ve never been a big fan of just drinking plain milk, don’t care for it. But I don’t have anything against it.

If you are a vegan ... beyond meat products have no soy. I eat some of these as i feel it has lower saturated fat and this helps with my cholesterol levels. I also eat every day low fat Greek yogurt. I know you said Milk but is that the same as low fat Greek yogurt? It fills me up and cup of greek yogurt is only 80 calories.

Mark were you an athlete or a soldier in your youth? Guys at the gym I’ve seen who are still going strong like you are usually had a strong foundation like playing football, wrestling, Olympic lifting, being in the military, etc.

You got to watch out for sugar. The companies will put sugar in products under several different ingredient names. Foods like tomato sauce can have a lot of sugar in it.

I don't know how are things in your country but in Spain it's mandatory that every and each product must tell you the amount of fat, carbs (ans sugars), protein and salt they contain per 100 grams/milliliters and/or piece of product, and how many kcalories. If you care about your nutrition is easy how to control it. Even for the products that say "0% added sugars" you can check the amount of calories per 100 grams, since many of them try to trick the consumer by lowering sugars (and advertising about that) while adding lots of kcal by added oils, or viceversa.

There are bars and powders made from whey protein that is sourced from organically raised 100% grass fed cows. If it doesn't specifically say "100% grass fed" or "grass finished cows," don't buy it unless it doesn't matter to you.

@@hmmm...7754 Never seen those. Never noticed something like that in sport nutrition stores. Anyway, the point is, that same people say - drink protein (made of milk) but don't use milk, because milk reduces testosterone.

Trans fats are not really banned because, in US legislation, which is bought and paid for by corporate entities (which is why I say we have the best government money can buy), zero does not really = 0. Trans fat content below a certain level per serving is "considered" zero, so they simply made the serving size on the label small enough to go below the threshold, and that allows them to say it has no trans fats.

hormones added in milk are not legal anymore for the last 15 years plus. I formulate dairy rations. they are all plant based now.

I use organic A2 no hormones no antibiotics grass fed milk in my diet, a whole foods diet high in good animal food, organic vegetables and berries. No prossessed foods. I use whey protein, do not drink acholic except a glass of wine once a month or so. I'm 60, strong, healthy and build muscle easy.

Even I am far away from 50 I still look after myself like a senior 😂 Seriously, all these foods (esp the GMO and processed ones) mentioned are bad for everyone at any age and should be avoided anyway.

I assume, you live in the USA, so it’s nearly impossible to get non-gmo-soy.. so it’s definitely not fine…😢 Soy is mostly produced in argentina, brasil and the usa.. bad for the rainforest as well.. sorry…

But Mark, there are 1.4 billion Chinese in China alone. That's a lot of testosterone considering "China consumed around 69.2 million metric tons of soybean meal in 2022" it doesn't seem to phase them in spite of the limits on children. So the conclusion is, its bad if you're over 50 but not before? I assume there is not a lot of science and research on this and more of anecdotes.

You don't need fruits and vegetables to survive. Id like one person to tell me how at almost 64 i am 5'10 170 and I'm able to build my muscles back up and feel great without eating fruits and vegetables. Its like lettuce is almost all water and has absolutely nothing nutritional in it yet costs good money. Cows were bred with the best to produce more milk. Yes, drink almond milk where they spray chemicals onto the ground or on the trees . LOL 😂 Unlike this guy, I was raised on a dairy farm.
